damjan97PL Posted March 5 Posted March 5 HI. This is my newest model, a polish truck Star 266M 6x6. Dimensions: -Lenght: 50cm -Width: 17,5cm -Height: 20cm All functions are controled by SBrick It's propeled by 2XL PF motors with 6x6 drive with differential on each axle and central diff. For steering I use a Servo motor. Tilting a bath is operated by one big linear actuator and propeled by L motor. Max capacity is about 500grams It has a full suspension with 3 wishbones per axle. Cabin has a openable door and inside it you can find a detailed interior with seats and dashboard. Im waiting for your comments :) GALLERY Quote
Timewhatistime Posted March 5 Posted March 5 (edited) On the second axle, left hand side, a 3 L liftarm ist missing... that's the reason why the blue 3L pins can't keep the 3x5 dogbone from getting pushed out of place by the spring. Edited March 5 by Timewhatistime Quote
domik Posted March 6 Posted March 6 I haven't imagined that technic vehicles could be so clean, on the outside. But I imagine it's not easy to fit all the motors, differentials and suspension to the tight space there. At least to me it seems pretty tight. Quote
howitzer Posted March 6 Posted March 6 Looks very Polished with Stellar execution. I'll get my coat -> Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Awesome truck! Great mechanical implementations not at the expense of design, still elegant and clean! Quote
Zerobricks Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Great idea using the double CV joint from Ford GT between axles. A very nice blend of Technic chasssis and classic styling! Quote
jorgeopesi Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Good idea using puzzle as load, I would like to see how it would work without all the aesthetic pieces but I know is your realistic style. Quote
Saruzeufel Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Looks great, such a clean build! That drivetrain is so well done Quote
gyenesvi Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Beautiful build, very nice blend of technic and system parts! I only wonder if it would have been possible to use 5x11 panels for the sides of the bed? Even the bevel effect could be replicated with those, but maybe the size is not ideal. Quote
Thirdwigg Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Great job again. Its fun to see this classic truck recreated in LEGO. Thanks for sharing. I love how you built the front steps. Quote
nerdsforprez Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Beautiful. I love build that focus on the idea of parsimony. Efficient, beautiful use of parts. Thxs for sharing... Quote
R0Sch Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Excellent use of reddish orange for such a clean looking bodywork. It's nice to see the good old PF system still being used today. Too bad that the death of this system also meant the death of the SBrick (they now only sell lighting kits). Quote
