imposter Posted February 17 Posted February 17 (edited) And the winner is.... :) So you have almost every dinosaurus ever made. That's awesome collection. I try to collect money for that Biosyn Headquarter. There is that dino and it is rare to get bases in this theme. LEGO should see these before they create their own versions. I don't have the spiderman or the unreleased one's, but other then that I have at least one of each species. Quote
imposter Posted February 17 Posted February 17 No I meant how many you have. I have heard that LEGO has made 25 different species from Jurassic franchise. It is not easy task to collect them all. Quote

If you intend to go into a movie blindly, you have to avoid all marketing, and that includes toys. Random thought, but his manner of speaking reminds me of a certain turtle. Like, no. A dinosaur appearing in a movie (and by the way—the whole plot hinges on getting three DNA samples, one of which is from that very same dinosaur) is not a spoiler, especially since it's been revealed officially. imposter Posted February 17 Posted February 17 As the top-secret expedition becomes more and more risky, they soon make a sinister, shocking discovery that's been hidden from the world for decades. We all know what this is. They have tried to mix dinos and humans. We get these human-dino-hybrids but not in lego form. In the movie yes. In lego no. That is the main plot. Quote

Haha, those wacky human-dino hybrids that were pitched for JP4 were weird and i dont think they were too well recieved because of that, i dont think we have to worry about Human-Hybrids like that, this D-rex i've heard different things about, (possible spoilers ahead) one of which im not a big fan of, is that its a failed recreation of an in-universe new species called Trantosaurus. I believe that info came from ProC, but their is sort of credence to that as if i remember correctly, one of the OG JW scripts included this same concept of a "real species" that has been discovered in-universe but isnt actually real, and it was like a raptor but with massive claws like a mole which dug up the ground, burried itself etc, and also i believe Malusaurus which was early concept for the Indominus was originally going to be this "real pure creature", before being changed to Diabolous rex and then turned into the hybrid we all know and love, the lovely Indom, which i massively prefer over a fake species. But i've also heard its just a failed creation of a t-rex, which i believe is more likely and way preferable in my opinion. I know these movies arent real etc, but i just dont like the idea of making up a fake species, there are plenty of other real interesting species to use already. Quote
imposter Posted February 18 Posted February 18 (edited) Good points Axo. I actually just realised why there are these 3 species. They need most dangerous dino from land, sea and air. So Titanosaurus is not on the list but those other 3 are. By the way what is this family they encounter in the island? (Rebirth) Edited February 18 by imposter Quote

I think i heard the largest species are the most resilient, and they need that as they have the highest tolerance immune systems from air, sea and land (Quetz, Mosa, Titano). Obtaining their genetic material will help find a cure for heart disease? Could be wrong, i dont know for sure if thats what they are trying to cure. The Delgado family if i recall correctly Quote

Sweet, im interested to see the movies explanation of whats going on, perhaps the introduction of Dinos into the world has negative impacts on the environment and atmosphere causing some airbourne spores/infectants which cause some sort of heart disease in us? That sounded better in my head but you know what i mean haha Edited February 18 by AxolotlPlays Quote
imposter Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Five years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion, the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. Those remaining exist in isolated equatorial environments with climates resembling the one in which they once thrived. The three most colossal creatures across land, sea and air within that tropical biosphere hold, in their DNA, the key to a drug that will bring miraculous life-saving benefits to humankind. https://www.jurassicworld.com There is more plot on the website. imposter Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Is it even possible that we could get some kind of hybrid dino human mold like in the trailer? It could be super expensive to make. Quote

Looks cool, similar to JP3, but i still prefer that JP3 one lol Quote

Still tho, greatly looking forward to see how this thing will be a threat in the movie (and how it would translate to lego Quote

FinlayTheFaithful Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Wonder if they'll just modify the existing raptor head and call it a day or try something new Quote

The existing one still works well enough IMO I’d rather they use the budget on new pieces for the missing dinos (i.e., Aquilops and the mutant) Quote

Yeah, They'll probably have to use something smaller than that Quote
