BrickBob Studpants Posted September 24 Posted September 24 I certainly wouldn‘t mind a new Batfleckmobile, but I‘m not sure how good it‘ll look without the dual-moulded windcreen pieces they used for the BvS and JL sets Still, I‘d much rather have a version with printed windscreens than yet another Burtonmobile or 66 Batmobile. This is what I‘m expecting for the four sets, being VERY optimistic: Logo: Man, Jonkler, Robin, Bane, Scarecrow, Killer Croc Batfleckmobile: Man, Soup Battinsonmobile: Man, Ave Maria Comicmobile: Man, Two-Face Quote
psqidexslizer Posted September 24 Posted September 24 This may/may not be an unpopular opinion, but if we do get a Batfleck Batmobile, I’d rather it included SS Harley Quinn over Superman. Quote

Makes sense, the BVS figures are still affordable to any fan who'd want them while Harley is piss off expensive Quote
Mandalorianknight Posted September 24 Posted September 24 6 hours ago, G_Brickley said: The X-Mansion only reused a few figures too no? Cyclops, Rogue, and Wolverine for full figs and then Magneto’s face and Storm’s torso. Doesn’t guarantee the planet in the slightest but I think they could get away with it. But even then, that's three figs and two prints vs 2 figs and no prints. Not to mention that the X-mansion didn't come out with a "Luthor's school for gifted youngsters (superman clones)" set already on shelves. I just don't see them doing it. 2 hours ago, psqidexslizer said: This may/may not be an unpopular opinion, but if we do get a Batfleck Batmobile, I’d rather it included SS Harley Quinn over Superman. It makes sense from a purely value perspective, but in terms of both what fits more for the set and opening things up, I'd much rather we get another Leaguer than a batman villain. This would be the first time batman and a non-bat hero shared a set since... what, 2019? 2020? We had the Soup mech last year, but keeping that momentum going with a leaguer in a batman set would be awesome, even if movie based. That said, putting SS Harley (we... we can't call her that) in a set that costs 1/7th her BL price would be an epic, Rex Microfighter level play by lego. Quote

Not quite since a new version wouldn‘t necessarily have printed arms and dual-moulded legs again, so I‘m not sure by how much the value of the 2019 one would actually drop They should do it anyway just to stick it to the scalpers! And I say that as someone who owns overpriced figs like Finch Dallow. ($1000 now on BL? Are they insane?!) Quote
Juvellino Posted September 25 Posted September 25 I hope the 2026 modular is a Wayne Manor with a batcave. They could reuse mini figure heads from Arkham and give us some new ones such as Alfred, Dick Grayson Robin and reuse the Bruce Wayne polybag minifigure. They could give us a batboat with Croc. They could give us the t rex and the penny. This is what I’m hoping for. Quote

IMO, this year will be Oscorp in late fall, around the same time the smaller Oscorp retires. Daily Planet or another Batman modular building will come in 2027. Quote

I would Iike to see Marvel get more of the city theme type buildings and let DC continue with another Modular. Wayne Gotham PD, Daily Planet, Hall of Justice, if they do a Wayne Manor, make it like the Harry Potter Bank set, with an attached batcave Quote
calebcold3 Posted September 26 Posted September 26 What are the chances that the only wave of sets we get for DC next year are the 4 sets coming in March? (The Batman Logo and Batmobiles). The last few years, we've always had one wave of sets released per year (Example: This Year's January wave), with one or two other sets releasing by themselves in a random month (example: The Val Kilmer Batmobile came out last month and Arkham came out this month) So.. if we were to get only one or two DC more sets for the rest of 2026 after March, what do we think it could be? I feel like we could get a unofficial Supergirl tie in set released in the summer, since Supergirl was teased in a LEGO Superman children's book. Other than that, maybe another D2C Batmobile in the fall? (Assuming the modulars switch every other year from now on between Marvel and DC) Quote
Mandalorianknight Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I would be confident that if we get a DC D2C in 2026 it'll be a UCS version of either the BTAS Batmobile or the Pattmobile. Quote

I would say another Modular, there is an interview where the designer says they were toed of making large scale vehicles. My bet is another D2C Modular. 18 hours ago, calebcold3 said: What are the chances that the only wave of sets we get for DC next year are the 4 sets coming in March? (The Batman Logo and Batmobiles). The Supergirl VS Lex mech is more wishful thinking, but I feel like it's possible. Of course Lex would be a reuse from the Supes mech earlier this year. Quote
DaredevilFan Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I know it won’t happen in the smaller sets but if they did a D2C Pattinson mobile I’d love a new cowl. Especially as he’s pretty much the only Batman that wouldn’t need the white eyes as underneath you could do the make-up look. Also would be good timing to be reused for Part 2. One big positive so far about the DC and Marvel wave is no smart bricks. I know it’s inevitable, but hopefully the Star Wars wave and Pokemon sets kill that idea Quote

I’ve been wanting a new Battinson cowl ever since the original movie wave released in 2022, the current cowl mould doesn’t suit the design well at all either. What would be awesome is getting a double sided head for him as well, one side with the eye makeup to go with the cowl and another without it so it can be used with a standard hairpiece. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Wouldn‘t it make more sense to release a D2C Battinsonmobile in 2027, to coincide with the sequel? ^^ Then again, sense-making isn‘t always part of the equation Quote

I might actually pick up the BvSmobile, which would be my first set since.. 2021's tumbler? I know people love to dunk on the snyderverse, and BvS is certainly a rough watch, but in general I think it's a good story if you consider it elseworlds. And there's no arguing that it's batmobile design was sick. Quote
RichardGoring Posted September 30 Posted September 30 I have no particular interest in either (but the BvS Batmobile is a cool looking car), but I'm glad they're doing Batmobiles that haven't been done before, and ones which won't include Joker. Quote

Just by typing this you've summoned them. There are- DCEU and Reevesverse Jokers, and somehow, someway, lego will now put them in the sets. (Oh, man, the Reevesverse Jonkler could even reuse the arkham jumpsuit...) Quote
Juvellino Posted September 30 Posted September 30 Not excited for the minifigures, although good minifigures was always a pipe dream considering these are small sets. Quote

I called it. It just makes sense. BvS is turning 10 next year and it's fair that it gets a set given how the most popular Batmobiles in film/television have been getting sets since 2021. The Batman Batmobile is like the main Batmobile in the new LEGO Batman video game. I wonder what the third Batmobile of this wave will be. I'm still thinking it'll be a 1966 minifigure scale remake.
