If it comes with GFO pneumatics, a GFO compressor and motor to power them and a GFO physical remote controller, then I would indeed have a GFO smile on my face. Quote

Gimme gearboxes and pneumatics pls, not boring direct drive functions Edited April 5 by Bartybum Quote
frechettemj Posted April 8 Posted April 8 Hopefully the EC500 will come with a new larger-size excavator bucket. Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted April 9 Posted April 9 And the year before that. It's unlikely to change, but I'd be happy to be proven wrong on that. Quote
Jundis Posted April 14 Posted April 14 According to the speculation from StoneWars, the Volvo Loader won't be pneumatic.... which I had actually hoped for ... Still, if Lego not completely butcher this model, this is a first day purchose. Quote
AVCampos Posted April 14 Posted April 14 I keep forgetting... the Volvo loader is supposed to be the flagship, right? So, if it's not pneumatic, then very likely it'll be electric (PU or otherwise). Quote

Jockos Posted April 14 Posted April 14 (edited) I secretly hope that the Volvo loader will be pneumatic. If not, then it must have some LAs which are quite a rare sight nowadays. Edited April 14 by Jockos Quote

Yes i really hope they bring back the linear actuators because the L version only recent set was the cat bulldozer and the xl last set was the volvo 6x6 hauler basicaly every year between 2008-2018 we got at least one set with L linear actuators and 2019-2020 one set with xl actuators and last L actuator set was in 2021 cat so i wonder why lego dropped this iconic feature but while its sad the linear actuators are gone im happy the pneumatics strikes back like in 1900s because lego didn't have back then those linear actuators so it is kind of cool that lego has gone back to stone age and brought us more pneumatics sets like in 1900s:) Quote

NV Lego technic Posted April 14 Posted April 14 I would love to see a set with the small pneumatic pump, we haven't had any in the recent years. Quote

Last years 42174 Emirates New Zealand has the small pump included as the last set but its unfortunately a bit underrated. Quote
NV Lego technic Posted April 14 Posted April 14 Oh, yes, I forgot... I kinda feel embarrassed right now because I kinda like the set, it is a nice break from the usual portfolio. Quote

I still love building cars with 4x of these: and thinking about the fact that (had I not bought them direct from Lego), four 6x6 Volvo Haulers would have had to give up their dashboards to make it! That is the straight one. But the picture (of the space vessel) shows the mudguards that are slightly curved on top. Edited April 15 by pow Quote
