JeanGreyForever Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Very happy we're getting a minifig set. Will have to pick this one up. Quote

JeanGreyForever Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Another minifigure set with the characters in their new looks from the sequel has been leaked. Also three minidoll sets. Lego seems to have really recognized that there's a market for minifigures when it comes to Wicked. I'm really glad they made the effort in catering to collectors here, although my wallet is not so sympathetic. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Is Toto a German Shepherd puppy in the Wicked universe? Interesting lineup of sets though. It seems like they're really leaning into the adult buyer side of things for Part 2. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Can’t say I expected the wall art set to feature minifigs as well, but I’m sure glad it does! Apart from Nessarose, we now have all the main characters in minifig form! 1 hour ago, Clone OPatra said: Is Toto a German Shepherd puppy in the Wicked universe? Not that I know of… I hope it’s not because they didn’t want to bring back the terrier piece. They did resurrect Tin Man’s hat and there’s the new piece for the Cowardly Lion, so the theme clearly has a pretty decent budget! Quote
Jarreth2 Posted July 23 Posted July 23 I appreciate that Lego have catered to us Wicked fans that wanted minifigures I really do ... BUT .. and it's slightly nit picking .. I honestly don't understand how a massive company like Lego miss the mark on so many little things ? Who signed off on Toto being represented by an Alsatian puppy ? They should have just recoloured the dog mould they used for Toto last time, in the movie he's a terrier of some sort. Nice Dorothy minifigure, although without a proper skirt piece it looks like shes wearing gingham dungarees. The new skirt piece from The Shire would have been perfect I think, perhaps not so great to print on though. I'll be picking the minifigure sets up and possibly the Castles set too. Quote
OttoRiver Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Anyone else bothered Elphaba doesn't have a cape in either of the minifigure sets? Or any set for that matter Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted July 23 Posted July 23 The final minidoll set leaked too! Boq is included in that one Funny how Wicked continues the trend of minifig/minidoll hybrid themes where some characters/versions only exist as minifigs and others only as minidolls Quote
Clone OPatra Posted July 23 Posted July 23 Dang that Munchkinland building is beautiful! But where are the munchkins? Quote

Do keep up. * It is *unfortunate* though, that the only actual munchkin included looks like he’s in a military uniform and giving a stiff-armed salute. Occupied Munchkinland. * though I doubt it would ever happen, a big ‘ Munchkinland’ display piece based on the original movie could be a colourful riot of a set. 4 hours ago, Robert8 said: Wow spoiler alert... At this stage, not really, surely? Edited July 23 by williejm Quote
