If there’s a Red Hulk set out 1 December I wonder if pictures of that will come out before the X-Mansion? Given it’s (presumably) not a D2C set.

The Red Hulk set is not a D2C, but it’s supposed to come out about one month after the X-Mansion, so I doubt it would be revealed before then. There’s a chance images could leak, but we’ve had less of those, lately, and the current rumored reveal date for the mansion is the 17th.

I’d love to post this and then come back and find I was wrong, though.

As always late to the conversation but whatever I'm here. lol

Love love love Jean Grey. Her face color came out nice and vivid on that navy (?) blue headpiece, the scarlet hair is pretty, and the shoulder armor makes sense. She looks awesome, can't wait to get her. That said, I do wish to see the Phoenix re-relelased with modern dual molding on her arms and legs someday. But this will do for now.

The snipper of the X-Mansion that leaked looks wonderful. Much better than what we saw in the survey so I'm officially back on board with this! It's all kind of exciting really. I felt the Sentinel was bulky and I wouldn't mind a cheaper set that we could potentially army build Sentinels with. That's besides the point as Iceman was the real standout of that leak. He was a bit whiter than I expected for some reason I was expecting to see him as a more blueish tone. But I guess the white makes more sense in hindsight. Or maybe its the lighting and he had a light bluish tone all along? Can't find the leak anymore so we'll have to wait and see.

Overall excited for more X-Men content, said it before but a Silver Samurai mech would go hard.

As for the Galactus vs Fantastic Four set being comic based? I feel like I'm in a dream right now. I was expecting it to be MCU based but if it is indeed comic accurate that will potentially go down as the best Marvel set ever. I almost get emotional thinking about it, as lame as that is. This is hands down the best news we've gotten for this theme in quite some time. Okay let me calm down but what if it comes with Silver Surfer? How perfect would that be. Actually kind of giddy at the thought of this release lol.

And I know its obvious but think of all the Sue Storm figures we could get? Like one where half her arm is translucent, one where she's all translucent except her head so it looks like she's a floating head kind of? One where her legs are invisible so it looks like she's a floating torso? This is sooo exciting.

And then think of the Mr Fantastic possibilities!? Regular figure all around, regular torso but with the long Ms Marvel arms, using the long Avatar pieces, new torso mould that is nothing like anything we've ever seen... yes

The fact that we will have X-Men and Fantastic Four sets on shelves at the same time next year is just so exciting I really can't express how full circle and rewarding this moment feels.

Ditto on Phoenix. Would also like to see more accurate colors on her. Lime green for her torso (like Shaggy and Robin Hood) and pearl gold for her emblem, sash, boots, and gloves. A Dark Phoenix minifig, like featured in Lego Fortnite, would be great too.

Iceman in the classic comics was mostly white rather than blue. His body was almost supposed to be translucent. When Beast, Iceman, and Angel joined the Defenders, they were color coded so that Beast was blue, Iceman white, and Angel red. It's only the modern comics with digital coloring, from the mid-90s onward, that make him light blue. You'll see Iceman in Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends and the 90s X-Men show was also white.

What I'm seeing about the Galactus vs FF set online is that there's been some backtrack on if it's comic-based or not. Now it's being said that the MCU Galactus looks just like the comic Galactus so the leaker got confused and thought it was a comic-based set instead of MCU. Personally, I'm rooting for it to be a comic-inspired set but I'm guessing it'll be based on the MCU. The MCU set would also feature a female Silver Surfer instead of the real one so that's another reason to hope we're getting a comic version instead.

And yes, I agree that we can get all types of Sue or Reed variants as minifigs. Johnny too with him being in flame on mode and not. The Fantastic Four minimates have done all types of variations for the FF.

TandNbricks is doing a QnA on Instagram, I'll quote a few things that may be of interest here.

Q: What are the chances we see more LEGO X-Men throughout 2025?

A: 2025 sets are already designed but I definitely think the reception of the mansion will determine if we get more. Maybe an advent calendar but it's a long shot.

(To me this implies there aren't any sets ready to go right now)

Q: Any info for Marvel summer 2025 stuff?

A: DC and Marvel will get a D2C. Overall, it's too early but F4 is going make their appearance.

(D2Cs I guess could be the object sets too, if this is summer then I doubt this means the buildings - another source corroborating F4 though!)

Didn't one of the more credible leakers imply something related to Wolverine was coming next year but didn't elaborate what it was? Regardless it will be disappointing if we don't get anymore X-Men sets next year. The theme is starting to become too over saturated with Infinity Saga remakes that we need more variety with other superheroes. Fingers crossed we at least get another Marvel CMF series.

Have we had any rumours about the Minifigure lineup for the upcoming Airport Battle remake? I realised it’s time to redo my Hall of Armour to accomodate new Iron Man and War Machine figures, and I missed the original so I’d love to add an updated Mark 46 and WM Mark 3 to my Hall.

Speaking of, what’s everyone’s preference on what variants do and don’t make it into your Halls? Do you include the video game suits? Comics? The 4+ variants? The Mech suits? Which ones would be best to have on display? (I’m especially in a particular conundrum over the 2022 Mech Suit Iron Man figure, because I was told that it’s the Mark 42, but I recently managed to snag an original 2013 Mark 42 figure and now I don’t know if I should keep both displayed or just the original or what.)

Iron Man has been confirmed so his Mark 46 armour is pretty much a lock, not sure about War Machine though

I don't know if this makes it easier or harder for you, but a new version of the Mark 42 should be coming next year in another hall of armour set

A proposito, qual è la preferenza di tutti su quali varianti fanno e non fanno nelle tue sale? Includi le tute da videogioco? Fumetti? Le varianti 4+? Il Mech si adatta? Quali sarebbe meglio avere in mostra?

I collect all Iron Man but I have set up a showcase specifically for MCU: I have included non-MCU but clearly inspired products, such as Hot Rod, Blue Steel, Hammerhead and Gemini. The 2022 mech figure, in my opinion, has nothing to do with the mark 42, apart from the prevalence of yellow there is nothing in the design that reminds of the Prodigal Son!

However, as Coryo says, an updated mark 42 is planned for 2025

Ps. Unfortunately War Machine is not included in the new Airport Battle

I have a notification on reddit about the Xavier leak, but the content is no longer available. Does anyone know anything about it?

Quando vedremo altri abiti unici di Iron Man???

It is likely that there will be a new model in the January mech…

I'm still waiting for Malibu Mansion D2C or a big hall of armor “ucs”

That would be the dream!!!

They're releasing a hall of armor with only one armor and it is a repeat. LOL

Sarebbe il sogno!!!

Stanno rilasciando una sala di armatura con una sola armatura ed è una ripetizione. LOL

Well there is also Iron Patriot and potentially accurate Killian. I'm still excited for this set

Someone posted a leak of his torso. Turned out it was a custom minifigure.

I still think we are due a Helicarrier remake as part of the 10th anniversary of Avengers AoU, but the Malibu Mansion is definitely the main set I'm hoping we get eventually as a D2C.

Perhaps we'll be lucky though as the Hall Of Armour having Aldrich Killian could hint to us getting an Iron Man 3 final battle set or perhaps something more.

I know but to me this lineup isn't doing it for me, too many super soldiers

I'm the same, it's not doing anything for me and the trailer didn't sell me either.

Cool. But that unfortunately spells the end for a Daily planet or Arkham modular.

Still excellent.

I'm calling BS - less iconic, but more expensive with more pieces than the Avengers Tower? Dropping in... April?

With 12 new armours, when up until this point, they've been clearly trying to string collectors along with one or two at a time to keep buying hall of armour sets?

Plus no set number?

I can totally see a set like this happening, but no way it's this.

Posted (edited)

Sadly I don’t buy that for a second as it seems far too good to be true - especially with an April release date and that price count / figure list.

i note in the Insta comments he mentioned two marvel D2C modulars next year, with the other in October

yeah, no way it's more expensive than the AT.

Malibu Mansion is an interesting choice. I wonder if that’ll be the years modular building or if we’re getting 3 large superhero buildings in 12 months. (I’d say something about us getting two mansions in less than 6, but the X-Mansion and Malibu Mansion are very distinct).

12 Iron Man suits does not mean new armours.

enhanced-buzz-orig-14113-1367630900-6.jpg

MK1, MK2, MK3, MK4, MK5, MK6, MK42 seem like a certainty given they were all featured in the marketing for the movie and are the Hall of Armour suits we see, that's 7 suits accounted for. Lego are also not restricted by the timelines, meaning we could easily have a scenario where the MK7, MK43, MK45, MK46, MK85 are the missing 5 suits and are repeats from recent sets:

  • MK7 - 76248, 76269
  • MK43 - 76288, 76291
  • MK45 - 76307 (Likely)
  • MK46 - 76314 (Likely)
  • MK85 - 76267, 242320

Unibricks Insta story about the Malibu mansion does start with “if this is true…” which doesn’t inspire confidence in it being legit

I wouldn't worry about the details right now, piece counts, prices, minifigures etc change often between announcement and release. The most important part of the rumor, and the one I hope is true at this point, is that we are finally getting a Malibu mansion "ucs", the set many of us have been waiting for for many years *___*
