Itavix on Insta had the pictures and he also posted an updated figure list: Jabba, Bib Fortuna, Salacious Crumb, Slave Leia, C-3PO, R2-D2, Max Rebo, Gamorrean, and three other guards (Wooof, Kithaba and Vizam). Also claimed the set would be $500.

Very hopeful this is accurate!! Great to get more of Jabba's goons.

Kithaba feels like a wasted slot tbh since he's one of the few they've already made and is the cheapest of them all on the aftermarket. Still, better to have him than nothing at all (though a different character would've been preferable) and I'm happy with Vizam and Wooof (as long as they do a good enough job with them).

Doesn't quite hold up to the Cantina's figure selection though: 11 here vs 21. Jabba is obviously worth more than a standard figure (though Salacious is worth less) but still would've liked a couple more new guards, especially when the set is a lot more expensive than the Cantina. Fingers crossed for a Jabba's guards battle pack.

I have absolutely no idea why they would include Kithaba over Barade, since like CallumPears said, we’ve already got Kithaba before. Hopefully he’ll at least use the Vane bandanna piece rather than the one he had in 2012. The minifigure selection is overall super disappointing. 11 is a ridiculously small amount of figures for a player this size. I would’ve thought Ree-Yees, Tessek, and Saelt-Marae would’ve been essential figures to a UCS Barge. Tessek wouldn’t have even needed a new mould.

So much for “oh no, they‘re gonna reuse Neel’s head for Max Rebo“

Personally, I‘m pretty satisfied with the minifig list. Wooof and Wizam are cool inclusions and while Ree-Yees and Tessek would‘ve been nice, we got the former before and the latter can be kitbashed pretty easily.

I too am glad that we’re getting not 1, not 2 but 3 new Glup Shittos.

Jonks aside it sounds like a great fig list. And by far a better deal for Minifigures than the UCS ATAT.

I agree. For myself I’m not overly worried, as I have Ree-Yees and the Quarren from Bib Fortuna’s Throne Room, but 11 figures is still disappointing for a $500 set, and I feel bad for the people who don’t already have the figures.

Yeah Ree-Yees is the big shame for me. I thought about getting him a few years ago but decided "nah, £12 is way too much for a single figure". Oops...

I was on the fence, but the figure selection is pretty poor and I expected better.  I always expect better and continue to be disappointed. You see the fantastic D&D CMF just out and can’t help but wonder what could be….

Yeah wayyy back when it was first rumoured this set was going to be a day 1 buy for me. The battle at the Pit of Carkoon was my favourite scene in all of Star Wars when I was 8, and I was obsessed with all the different guards and small details even years later.

Now, with the inaccurate Leia, ugly Salacious and overall low figure count it'll need a decent discount (unless the build is something truly amazing; obviously that's the main thing you pay for but I'm not optimistic).

And the main thing that got me excited initially was the prospect of an accurate RotJ Boba. Look how that turned out...

This set is in a bit of a grey area. For UCS sets, the number of minifigs should be irrelevant, as the vehicle itself is the focal point. For MBS sets (or whatever they're called now), the minifigs definitely matter. The Sailbarge is in a weird spot since it's kinda both at the same time

A couple additional minifigs wouldn't have hurt, but it's still a good selection overall, I'd say.

Looks like my prediction was correct on Bib Fortuna reusing the Book of Boba Fett headpiece. He does come with a new face and torso print so at least the figure isn't completely recycled.

Why are 10+ year old figures that came in playsets more accurate than the ones being released in a 500€ (or is it 550?) UCS set in 2024. I am perfectly fine with the relatively low minifigure count but why do we have to regress with the designs.

Because people will buy the set anyway.

I agree, I think it's more in line with the UCS Sandcrawler, where it's a minifigure scale UCS vehicle, so there's an expectation of more minifigures than a normal UCS ship (especially since it has a larger crew than something like the UCS Slave I, which really only needed like three figures), but this one is in a gray area for sure.  The fact that they put the skiff/Sarlacc pit as a separate set also kind of changes things, because you've got like five main characters already in that set, and therefore they aren't going to repeat them in the Barge.

The Sandcrawler is probably the best comparison, actually, now that I'm looking at it.  It was $300 and had ten actual minifigures/droids and then a handful of brick-built droids, and that came out ten years ago.  Had it come out today, I would guess it'd be at least $400, which is close-ish to the Sail Barge price.

Ok that Bib is unacceptable. Minifigure design has really gone downhill recently.

Reused ESB Boba, Thrawn's code cylinders, many obvious mistakes with Clones over the past few years, and I'm sure there are some others that I'm missing. And that doesn't include the weird glowing eyes: I don't like those but at least they're a stylistic choice rather than a blatant inaccuracy like the others I've listed.

Time to vote with our wallets. When we first had the survey leak I was all set to buy this day one, then we had the Boba Fett be included with the skiff and be the wrong version and other minor issues that put me on the fence. This Bib Fortuna is the last straw. I might buy the set eventually if the build is truly amazing, but certainly not without a good discount.

Bib is a bummer for me. Nothing too critical that will stop my purchase, since the build has priority and the figures I won‘t see afterwards.
But I will voice my opinion towards Lego.

I don't understand why anybody is buying these sets Day 1, even when they are good. Discounts and promotions always come, let's stop overspending on every little thing and giving Lego more reasons to increase prices!

Yeah true- even with sets like the new Star Destroyer which I think are good I'm still waiting for a decent discount.

If we all wait for the discounts, Lego won't lower its prices, it will fail. You should thank those who buy on day 1, so Lego continues to produce the sets you like and you can afford to wait for the discounts

Sorry, but from a customer point of view this is so wrong in many ways. The best one can do is to wait half a year or longer and buy with a good discount. That applies to all sets, not only UCS.

I decided to not buy the Peridea set. In my eyes it is the worst LSW set ever. It's ridiculously overpriced. And while the other minifigs are nice to have, the only real incentive to buy the set is Thrawn. Nope, I am not getting the set.

If LEGO consistently fails to sell sets at exorbitant prices (due to people waiting for discounts), they will have to revert to more digestible prices to improve sales. People continuing to buy things on day 1 at full price will only tempt them to push us further to see how far up they can go without a significant decline in sales.

Edit: Just want to clarify, if anybody wants to and is able to buy sets on day 1, go ahead by all means. I definitely do so as well (though less often recently due to the increasing prices), but doing that definitely won't help us in our efforts to incentivise LEGO to stop putting up prices.
