In this mini-set, the pirate is on a mission: enemy intel! Armed with a spyglass, map, quill, and backup weaponry, this pirate is ready to spy on imperials.  For extended missions, this dinghy comes fully loaded: cabin, musket porthole,  cargo barrel, and oar attachments. The pirate made sure to pack provisions and beverages for the voyage ahead, as well his cutlass and trusty parrot sidekick.

The cabin holds all the cargo he needs, and folding roof keeps provisions and gunpowder dry.

This is nice, although I'm not sure the roof is really needed.  A true pirate would just get wet in the rain!

Great selection of accessories and a clever use of the cannon base as a hinge.

Thank you for the feedback! I was going for a "house boat" vibe since I haven't seen one done before with the rowboats, but I see your point!  And thank you I was pumped to use the cannon base for this purpose - having a limited number of Legos (not the case 30 years ago) breeds creativity I think :)

Aye, very nice, I agree that cannon base is very clever :) you might want to edit the post and clarify that it is a mini set, because right now it just says entry, anyway, on to the build, there's not much to change except maybe make it look like a merchant, add some boxes, and barrels, even if they are to blow up a fort :pir-grin: and perhaps add more photos on to the post, some lazy people might think this is a hassle to go elsewhere to look at the photos, anyway, happy building :)

Oh, and welcome to the forum :pir-huzzah2:

Quite a funky design. The roofed (more like a cabin) boat approach is interesting but far from what one would expect to meet in the age of sail. The idea to use the cannon base for the clips is also a nice touch although the piece takes a lot of space and is sticking out a bit. The whole boat gives me a unsafe instability for it's height and I guess id would be quickly turn over by the waves.

Wow I appreciate this feedback so much!

HUGE thanks for tips to upload images.  I was really struggling with it last night, and this tip made it SO easy. (While I did read to use Flickr, I kept trying to embed the pic links into the embed link prompt, instead of right into the doc)

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Best,

Brendan
