El Garfio Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 I was working on a Shipping container style building (8x16 plate as a base) using the 60330 pieces (and some extras) and this is what I got I like how the indoor are looking, but I'm disappointed with the outdoors Any suggestions? Quote
Lemerbrix Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 I’m no moc expert, but what I can recommend is try making your build appear less “flat”. Try adding some balcony space, a sign, or maybe even a bridge across the street! I personally don’t like “shipping container style” buildings as they feel flat and boring, maybe try adding a section that sticks out a bit, I’m also going to leave you with some sets to take notes on https://brickset.com/sets/60365-1/Apartment-Buildinghttps://brickset.com/sets/60380-1/Downtownhttps://brickset.com/sets/41729-1/Organic-Grocery-Store https://brickset.com/sets/41731-1/Heartlake-International-Schoolhttps://brickset.com/sets/41732-1/Downtown-Flower-and-Design-Stores https://brickset.com/sets/41747-1/Heartlake-City-Community-Kitchen https://brickset.com/sets/41748-1/Heartlake-City-Community-Centre Quote

Coming from someone who bought a queer eye set on clearance for parts, those bricks are very nice and detailed edit: those ice pops in the cafeteria look amazing! How did you build those? Murdoch17 Posted August 21, 2023 Posted August 21, 2023 I agree with Lemerbrix. It looks way better now! Quote
