Wish they would’ve just given Rapunzel short hair instead of that god awful waist length braid. Tiana has a large wardrobe too, they definitely could’ve given her another outfit :(

Tiana being a straight reuse is the worst part IMO, but Naveen was probably going to be in his swamp outfit and needed her to match.

Even if they were planning to use that same outfit they could’ve used the large dress piece to differentiate her. That dress is huge in the movie! I think they would be recognizable in their restaurant outfits from the very end. Just a wasted opportunity.

I said this a while ago, but they could have given Tiana her blue dress for the CMF series and saved the green dress to match Naveen here. The blue dress would even make more sense with her accessories being a frog and her Tiana's Place sheet, both of which she has in the blue dress scene in the film. I think the castle designer and cmf team may not have been in contact which is where the reissue happened.

All these comments and none of you commented on the highlight of the set…the brick built fireworks😂😂

waiting to see additional pics but honestly somewhat of a letdown. I’ll still be buying but won’t be as excited as originally anticipated🤷🏻‍♂️

Oh ok. Look there are brick built fireworks.

I liked the idea when the description came out, but I don't think they add much to the set, and don't feel right. Perhaps too small, or too few, or two washed out, compared to real ones.

Haha I said they were cute.  Which I think they are; not too oversized or overstated.

New pics of Snow White are out, she has both dual molded arms AND arm printing.

Hope this means Rapunzel will turn out very good.

Snow White looks good--I still wish she had been in the CMF series though, instead of being an exclusive to such an expensive set.

How annoying, they threw cheap glitter all over her just like with Aurora. At least Aurora and Cinderella actually have magical dresses, there's no excuse for Snow White's dress to have glitter. If the cottage set ever comes out, I hope they don't reuse this Snow White but include a non-glitter version.

The printing of the yellow skirt on the blue torso also leaves a lot to be desired. The line down her bodice should be beige like the bands under her sleeves.

I think Snow White may have been built incorrectly.... It looks like she has a collar piece in that Castle leak, which isn't in the figure. That makes me think the skirt may be wrong, and it might actually be Belle's! It would be the right color for it. That hopefully would mean that Show White's is a little closer in color to her torso.

When the Evil Queen minifigure was first leaked, it lacked a cape and collar as well in the leaked images. The early leaked images often aren't assembled correctly (Cinderella's skirt being put on backwards). It couldn't be Belle's skirt because Belle's skirt would have a sash draped around it with beads.

Pretty sure that is 100% Snow White’s skirt. Belle’s dress has a lot more going on.

Snow looked amazing in that low res image, but in reality that torso skirt transition is horrible, and those sparkles really messed it up. Sometimes less is more.

Hmm... Y'all might be right. I was thinking Snow's skirt might be more tan (to match the look of the movie/the torso printing color), but you're right that it doesn't really look like Belle... It's probably just me trying to look for some kind of confirmation for her and the Beast, if they're in the set at all!

Same, it's such a pity. I felt the same way about Aurora when the first image of the CMF series was leaked only to change my mind when I saw the actual figure in high res. Snow White's torso also looked darker in the castle pic which is more movie accurate than the standard shade of blue they seem to have actually used.

I love everything but the torso on Snow White. The sparkles are odd but moreso when they are clumped around the shoulders and not around any other part of the bodice. Also a beige/gold line down the center would have been accurate and better than a blue line. Would like to see it with the collar but holding out hope the Dwarf's Cottage version would have a more accurate version.

Also noticing that the stickered panels in the castle are murals of Tiana and Snow White. I imagine the others would be Rapunzel and Cinderella but there are only 4. Reallly hoping this doesn't mean no 4 more figures and more that the panels are interchangeable with other princess murals not shown.

The floor of the castle seems especially disappointing. The gorgeous floor tiles from the original seem to be gone, as well as the flower vases, crests and shields, and even the suits of armor! It doesn't feel like a castle without suits of armor.

Or wait until Seven Dwarves’. Cottage set.  Waiting would kill me.

I’ve got an uneasy feeling that the 8 minifigures we can see in the image will be all we’re getting .. I definitely hope I’m wrong though 🤞🏼

A shoo-in for diversity, perhaps?

The original leak info mentioned the inclusion of Sleeping Beauty which does not seem to be the case. They probably couldn't think of anyone else to include.

Then they would have to make at least Cinderella have that large dress piece, then the other characters that never appeared in a large dress piece would look out of place.

The increase in price is all because of that joke? I honestly would have preferred that the set just come with a printed background you could stick in a wall. WickedBrick makes a Disney castle display case with a nice background.

Same here.

I had been dead-set on getting this set, but now I am wondering if it might just be better to BL just some of the characters???

Hard to tell. Going from the rumoured 12 down to 8 would be quite a letdown, even though the 8 confirmed ones all look great!

Also, Belle not being in any of the sets would be quite silly. She‘s the only major classic princess missing, we just got Gaston plus the Lumière and Cogsworth buildable figures, and there‘s a BatB reference in the castle :shrug_oh_well:

8 would definitely be a let down and make the celebrations rather fall flat when you think of the rumoured 22 minifigures in the new Avengers Tower. Even 12 could be better. As for Belle, she's also one of the tiles shown on the 100 Years of Disney Animation box front artwork. Granted Elsa and Jasmine are there too, but they do already have minifigures.

Are we thinking official reveal for the castle today or more like next week?

Since this is the flagship of the 100th anniversary sets, I think they will tease it first before fully revealing it. In that case, I‘d expect a reveal next week :classic:

Mmmh I guess teasing would have been welcomed with a new castle. I'm not sure they'll be teasing a set that was retired a few months ago.

Ah yeah very true.  Guess we'll have to wait a little longer then. :iamded_lol:
