SERVATOR Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 Vintage car with rumble seat also called a mother-in-law seat And here is rumble seat in Hudson 1928. Quote
Murdoch17 Posted October 14, 2022 Posted October 14, 2022 As someone who got to ride in a rumble seat of a 1930's model A for a few miles, I can safely say this is very accurate! I can also say they are incredibly unsafe (will catapult you in case of a head-on crash) and are very hard to get into or out of for adults / late-stage teenagers! (So I wonder how old-time grown adults got into the back in all those stiff, starched long-pants without ripping a seam!) Anyway: fantastic MOC! Quote
SERVATOR Posted October 16, 2022 Author Posted October 16, 2022 Little change of trunk. And STILL ALIVE mother-in-law inside. Quote
1963maniac Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Well done!! You are funny, chuckle, chuckle. Quote
Feuer Zug Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Wonderful build of the classic inter-war period. Love putting the mother-in-law in the boot. Quote
GeoBrick Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 "Ouch!" Grannie says "No cushion?" Nice vehicle, SERVATOR. Quote
LordsofMedieval Posted October 17, 2022 Posted October 17, 2022 Colors feel very Dick Tracey to me. Quote

Great observation here, though I think we'd need some uglier-looking mugs in the car if this was going to be a villain's car. Perhaps adding some of those early Clone Wars heads would fit the bill? Kidding aside, great work on this one @SERVATOR! Curious to know if this model is an original design, or a MOD of an existing set? Either way it looks fantastic and very accurate to the time period!
