Love this!

And the ‘Granny’ name and the authentic 70’s beige colour scheme made me laugh!

With this Mk1 platform nailed, the obvious next step would be a re-colour and some minor mods to create a Mk2 Mexico/RS2000 rally rival for the Audi Quattro!

Where did the chrome parts come from ?

The dishes 2x2 are original by Lego, they made a few sets in the years from 1998 to 2003 with chrome parts. https://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=4740&in=S
The round plate 1x1 is custom painted by Chrome Block City  https://chromeblockcity.com/
For the rest of them, I painted myself using a Liquid Chrome Molotow Marker https://www.molotow.com/anwendungen/marker-anwendungen/liquid-chrometm

Thank you!

Probably I will turn this thing into a sci-fi hover inspired by the artwork from Alejandro Burdisio https://www.artstation.com/burda
