mpj Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) Hello, I show you my latest alternative model, it is a Scania XT with snowplow and salt spreader. In set 42128 there are too many colors in my opinion, so it was not very easy for me to build a truck that was not too colorful. It features several functions: - HOG steering - working foldable crane and stabilizers - liftable third axle - dump body - working snowplow - working salt spreader via truck differential  The snowplow and salt spreader can be removed from the truck. No pneumatic parts are used, they were too big for the functions of the crane / the snowplow.  Instructions can be found HERE I hope you like it! Edited January 10, 2022 by mpj Quote
karmadrome Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Fantastic job, Marco! Impressive how you managed to build a visually cohesive vehicle with the many different colours of the original. Cab looks great, and I love the details like the red flags on the snow plow. Quote
Jurss Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Could have been official B-model for this set. Quote
ColletArrow Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 I opened this thread without really reading the title, and thought that's a very neat-looking truck, a reasonable size with nice details and good functions, and including a well-built HIAB crane. Then I saw it was a C-model and I had to retrieve my jaw from the floor Fantastic work! Quote
Good old Lego builder Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Great build! Well done, Very, very, impressive C-model!! Love the details. Quote
Zerobricks Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 Woah, that's jaw-dropping! Well done indeed, could easily be an official B model. Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted January 10, 2022 Posted January 10, 2022 This is indeed very good! Well done! Would there be enough parts to build a small trailer to add to the truck? Quote
