KirTech LAB Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 (edited) Hi! It's not a new MOC, but finally I was managed to film a video with English comments, so here you can find a piece of true winter :) The model is 73 cm long, weights 2.4 kg (without underwater stabilizer) and contains seven motors and 2x Buwizz receivers. The main feature of the model - it can really break the ice. Functions: buggy motor for the screw, working rudder, two drills and adjustable trim of the vessel. More photos you can find in the album: https://www.flickr.com/photos/141718063@N06/albums/72177720295371540 Thanks for watching :) Edited February 3, 2023 by KirTech LAB Quote
allanp Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 That's really cool (no pun intended!) Very nice real world demonstration and you have blended system and Technic very well. Thank you for sharing Quote
1gor Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 It is cool, but I don't like cold. Very original idea and impressive MOC Quote
Johnny1360 Posted December 19, 2021 Posted December 19, 2021 Yes very impressive, love the ice breaking feature, on the front. Although it would not be good if it got locked in the ice and you have to wait for ice melt, to retrieve ship. Quote
Johnny1360 Posted December 20, 2021 Posted December 20, 2021 It would be nice to see it out of water ad well, especially the aft area. Quote
Johnny1360 Posted December 21, 2021 Posted December 21, 2021 Saw this over at Brothers Brick, way to go man. Quote
weavil Posted December 22, 2021 Posted December 22, 2021 Great work! I was scared for a second when the back was getting closer to the water. Quote

nerdsforprez Posted December 23, 2021 Posted December 23, 2021 Wow... this is a wonderful build to be sure. But what I love the most is that you took the time to film it with nature, in nature. If necessity is the mother of creation (as the saying goes) then mother nature, and all the odd necessities and needs she has created surely has a long and storied place of engineering history! Well done and thanks for sharing.... Quote
