Djakovo-medieval town

After I started building the city for a couple of years, I also became interested in castles. I'm never happy with what I've done, but I'm progressing slowly.
 Unfortunately the money side still limits me to go into more detail. 
Because when I go to work I like to do everything big. To make 4 buildings, instead of 1 with all the details.
 I am preparing for the exhibition of my LUG club "KOCKICE" so I am in a hurry to do everything I plan.
 I started  the castle with 1 tower, then a couple of buildings, so I added the walls.
 Now I’m working the village in front - and the plan is a port as well.
 The tower is now too small for such a big city so I tear it down after the exhibition and do something bigger.

I borrowed a lot of ideas, so maybe someone will  recognized they work - THANK YOU !!

Very nice build.  The castle and tower have some nice texturing and design to them.  The village looks good and I like the all the crops especially the grape vine nice detail.  All the buildings have some nice colors.  You have quite a few cypress trees I'm jealous.  I also like all the action with the minifigs throughout the scene.  Good job.

I'm still trying to add details and texture to the walls, it just requires a lot more smaller bricks;)
 I try not to repeat myself with the design and especially the roofs bother me.Again need more bricks ;) 
Cypress and so hard to find, i got them 5  from  some old lots i got ;)
And with figs I always like to overdo it. I have about 1500 figs in my whole 7m  town. And its hard to find for all to do something ;)

This town and adjacent castle is great!  I'm also working on a similar setup but am far behind your progress.

I appreciate the focus on landscaping that you have done.  The trees are great and I like the rows of vegetables growing.

I wish I lived close enough to come to your LUG's exhibition!

It's truly inspiring to see something this big taking place. I'm working on a similar project for way too long to admit, and can say how difficult it is to commit. 
Awesome work in the minor details, and I appreciate you taking separate photos of some of the structures that compose this grand diorama.
Fantastic job. Hope it keeps growing. I would love to see a bolder castle structure coming from inside the walls.
