McMarky Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 (edited) Hi everybody, I'm newbie to the EB, so I'd like to introduce myself with this humble MOC. I'm a fan of LEGO Technic and pneumatics, especially RC ones. I hope I will meet here more fans of LEGO Technic pneumatics. I'd really appreciate any discussion and suggestions. Features: Powered and controlled by BuWizz 2.0 + 2 x Sbrick + PS4 controller + BrickController 2, 16 RC functions (12 can be used at once); 7 x PF motors - 4 x servo motors and 3 x L motors 6 x PF LED RC AWD powered by a PF L motor - with a central differential and gearing including the difference in the wheels’ diameters; pendular driven front axle controlled by PF servo motor - the pivot point is above the wheels’ axle to limit overlapping wheels on the front loader - like in a real tractor; differentials on both axles; 7 RC pneumatic functions controlled by 3 PF servo motors - 3 of them can be used simultaneously (selected manually). 3 at the front to serve the front loader, 4 at the back - one for 3-point hitch, and 3 outputs for additional attachments; pneumatic pump powered by a PF L motor and connected with all RC controlled pneumatic valves. It works proportionally to the opening of the pneumatic valves what ensures smooth work of pneumatic functions. Front loader with 4 attachments - brush grapple, wrapped bale grab, pneumatic sliding pallet forks and bucket; PTO shaft - powered by a PF L motor; trailer hitch; opening hood and doors; lights - front and rear, roof spotlight, blinkers, beacon lights; simple interior - steering wheel and driver seat; Here you can see it in action: Edited April 22, 2021 by McMarky Quote
suffocation Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 That's insane Any pics of the internals? Quote
Maaboo the Witch Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Nice use of the Lambo logo and branding! Very authentic. Quote

Mainly, I've packed them under driver's seat. Unfortunately I have taken only these pictures before finished: I hope you can see something. Quote
Jundis Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 "How much pneumatic did you use?" --> "All of them..." Really cool technic, this thing is fully packed to the max! Is there a real world inspration you went for? I can only remember some white Lamborghini tractors from a card quartet game from early 90s. The use of the fender really is a thing lego should go for, when they are trying to do a Claas tractor :-) Quote

No reference to make, shape, dimensions, scale or colours. I built just a LEGO Technic tractor. I called it Lamborghini because I used bricks from 42115 set. I like the lime colour and IMHO the tractor looks well with it. There is a list of pneumatic parts you asked for: 2 x Pneumatic Cylinder 1 x 11; 2 x Pneumatic Cylinder 2 x 11; 5 x Pneumatic Cylinder 1 x 5; 1 x Pneumatic Pump 1 x 6; 3 x Pneumatic Switch with Pin Holes; 8 x Pneumatic Switch with Pin Holes, Axle Hole and Stepped Outlets; 8 x Pneumatic T-Piece (T Bar); 18 x Pneumatic Hose Connector with Axle Connector ; c.a. 10m hose. Andman Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Holy... This beauty is packed like hell and looks really good! Great MOC! Quote
Pato Sentado Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Very nice!!! But Lamborghini tractors are white... Quote
jorgeopesi Posted April 22, 2021 Posted April 22, 2021 Nice use of everything and your brain particulary . Quote
iLego Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 Wow, the amount of functions inside it are staggering !! Very cool creation ! Quote
1gor Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 (edited) As tractors builder it is always nice for me to see a new build. Nice pack of functions, but as in my case I see that hood is difficult to build when you try to replicate real tractor, so I understand your choice. With new Zetros tire it would look better. 2GodBDGlory Posted April 23, 2021 Posted April 23, 2021 That is a very nice, very well-thought out model! What do you mean when you say that you have seven pneumatic functions, manually selected between the three RC-controlled servos? My impression is that there are seven total functions, but the user must manually pre-select which three will be remote-controlled at a given time. Is this correct? How is this accomplished? I certainly wouldn't have bothered with that, but it is a nice touch! Quote

Exactly as you wrote. You preselect manually 3 of 7 pneumatic functions you want to control. It's done by changing the air flow by mean of the pairs of valves at the back of the cabin. Red, yellow, blue and lime on the picture. There is an ad-hoc made scheme: The valves V1 and V2 are coupled and switched together manually. So, you need 2 additional valves for 1 additional pneumatic cylinder. I hope it's clear. If not, don't hesitate to ask for more explanation. Thank you for your appreciation. In my case the lime panels from Lambo fits perfect. I really like the shape of the hood I got. Trying to model a real object is always challenging and I appreciate the designers who do that. On 4/23/2021 at 6:55 AM, I_Igor said: With new Zetros tire it would look better. I'm afraid that they would be to wide for my tractor front wheels. There wouldn't fit a fender. Nevertheless I'm itching to get them! Quote
2GodBDGlory Posted April 24, 2021 Posted April 24, 2021 Thanks for the explanation! That must have been a nightmare to "wire"! Quote
