I agree, I think the Tantive will be the 2027 UCS set. It's a very major ship and in 2027 it'll have been quite literally over a quarter century since it's last UCS model.

AOTC wave- we thankfully have a bit more to work with here than TPM, which really suffers from the lack of a standing army for the good guys (Assuming most kids don't want an army of gungans or naboo police) and the bad guys just having droids.

Geonosis Duel ($9.99): Count Dooku's speeder and a collapsing pillar with Count Dooku and Yoda.

AT-TE microfighter ($12.99): Clone Captain

Jango Fett Mech ($14.99): Jango Fett

Attack of the Clones ($19.99): 4x P1 Clone Trooper with a Speeder Bike (based on the 2002 hasbro toy and AT-TE side build) and a small barricade (based on battlefront 2017)

Corporate Alliance Tank Droid ($34.99): Padme Amidala (tan cape and white suit, no scratch), a Clone Sargent, Bultar Swan, and 2x B1 battle droid.

Coruscant Airspeeder Chase ($59.99): Zam and Anakin's airspeeders with Zam Wessel, Anakin Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and a buildable Probe Droid.

Battle of Geonosis ($84.99): Spider Droid and Clone Command Center with a Clone Lieutenant, Coleman Kcaj, 2x Clone Trooper (sand stained armor), 2x geonosian, and 2x b2 battle droid

Republic Gunship ($139.99): Comes with 2x Clone Pilot, 1x Clone Captain and 2x Clone Trooper, as well as two buildable droidikas.

Petranaki Arena ($159.99): Three central pillars, two wings of stands with a gate and balcony, and three buildable beasts (Nexu, Reek, Acklay). Comes with Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, Padme (scratched), a Clone Commander, Mace Windu, Poggle the Lesser, Wat Tambor, 3x Geonosian, 3x B1 battle droid, and 3x B2 battle droid.

UCS/MBS: Jedi Starfighter ($199.99): Remake of Obi-Wan's Delta-7. Comes with Obi-Wan Kenobi (dual-molded legs) and his astromech.

Very nice. Very nice. I like the battle of geonosis sets.

And Dooku’s Speederbike is a great shout for….

£10 set slot ideas (going by the rumoured SW and Marvel bikes, the formula appears to be 1 new/ rare figure and a common minifig)

AT RT: Mace Windu and a commando droid (Mace could be swapped with a clone trooper because of army building capabilities)

Buildable Mogu: Cal Kestis (survivor) and stormtrooper.

Buildable Taun Taun: Luke Skywalker and Han Solo

BARC Speeder: Obi-Wan Kenobi (armour) and a commando droid (Obi-Wan could be swapped with a clone trooper because of army building capabilities)

Imperial Speederbike (Endor): Scout trooper and Leia Organa/ Luke Skywalker

Imperial Speederbike (Lothal): Sabine Wren and stormtrooper.

Ezra Bridger’s Speederbike: Ezra Bridger and stormtrooper

Anakin’s desert joyride: Anakin Skywalker and a tusken raider

Buildable Dewback: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Sandtrooper

Buildable Bantha: Luke Skywalker and a tusken raider

Luthen’s Speederbike: Cassian Andor and Luthen Rael

Holocron Heist: Cad Bane and Todo 360

Baby Pateesa: Omega and Hunter

Droidekas: Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui Gon Jinn

Imperial probe droid: Han Solo and Chewbacca

Ahsoka’s Swoopbike: Ahsoka Tano and younger Martez sister

Peridia Howler: Ahsoka Tano and Night Trooper

Nexu Attack: Padme Amidala and a B1 Battledroid.

Battlefront 2015 uplink (Eweb and uplink builds): Rebel Endor commando and a stormtrooper.

Buildable Gundark: Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi

Spider-Maul: Savage Oppress and shirtless Maul (without legs)

Rey’s Speederbike: Rey and BB8

Millenium Falcon escape pod: Rey and Kylo Wren

I think this new £10 set slot should serve more as a way for kids to get main characters for cheap, rather than army building, hence why things like the BARC and AT RT would preferably have Jedi generals instead of clones. The theme needs new blood in order to survive. And cheap starter packs are a way to entice new blood.

Yup- These are all excellent- I did a similar thing awhile back but most of mine were speeders or duels, the creatures and other vehicles on your list are creative ways to get unique usage out of this price point.

I love these $10 sets marvel's done and the two 2026 ones (Ghost Rider's bike and Mando's speeder, which are also the only 2026 sets I've currently budgeted as guaranteed purchases) seem like awesome set ideas. I really hope this speeder sells well- I imagine it will, there has to be a huge impulse-buy market for these- it's cheaper than even the gimmick sets and yet provides a gimmickless play experience that fits with the "normal" sets- and that lego goes on to make multiple per year. As you've demonstrated, there's no shortage of options.

Alright, Revenge of the Sith wave- very excited. This is easily the best prequel movie and has the correspondingly largest number of set options:

Clone Scout Walker ($9.99): Finally the right size. Comes with an AT-RT Driver and 2x B1 battle droid.

Anakin's ETA-2 Microfighter ($12.99): Anakin Skywalker (ROTS)

Grievous Mech ($14.99): emulates his own body armor. Comes with General Grievous (no cape)

Clone Legions ($19.99): 1x each of a 442nd trooper (white armor with green accents), 501st trooper, 212th trooper, and a 91st corps trooper. Build is a BARC speeder and small turret.

Coruscant Duel ($37.99): Palpatine's office with Darth Sidious, Anakin Skywalker, Kit Fisto, and Mace Windu. Has a function to blast the windows off the office.

Dueling Dooku ($54.99): Invisible Hand "throne room" with throne, dual staircases with upper balcony, and a function to drop something on Obi-wan to take him down. Comes with Obi-Wan and Anakin (no outer brown robes), Chancellor Palpatine, Count Dooku, and 2x b2 battle droid.

AT-AP ($59.99): AT-AP walker with Gree, 2x Kashyyyk clone troopers (camo), and 2x b2 battle droid alongside a dwarf spider droid.

Battle of Coruscant ($109.99): Anakin and Obi-Wan's ETA-2s as well as a V-wing, with a Tri-Fighter and Vulture Droid. Comes with Anakin, Obi-Wan (both in robes and with headsets) R2, R4-P17, 2x Buzz Droid, a Republic Astromech, General Grievous (Cape), and 2x clone pilot (one with an open-faced helmet and one with a closed helmet)

Clone Turbo Tank ($159.99): An actually good turbo tank with Yoda, Chewbacca, 2x 442nd clone trooper, a 442nd scout, Luminara Unduli, and Quinlin Vos

UCS/MBS: Revenge of the Sith: The Outer Rim Sieges (good thread page number for it) ($349.99): This is a weird one, let me try and explain the setup. So it'd be a frame that holds scattered circular dioramas of the different Outer Rim Sieges (order 66 scenes, but I doubt lego would outright call it that.). The dioramas can be swapped around on the frame, with a stand included at the back to position an ARC-170 and Plo Koon's starfighter on top. The dioramas are of Mygeeto terrain (with a tri-droid), the wookiee structure Yoda oversees the battle of Kashyyyk in (with an ornithopter floating outside it), Felucia terrain/flowers (with a buildable gelegrub), Salucami terrain (with three BARC speeders), and Utapau terrain with a buildable Boga. Comes with Plo Koon, Ki-Adi Mundi, Yoda, Aayla Secura, Stass Allie, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Commander Cody, Captain Jag, Commander Bacara, Commander Gree, Commander Bly, Commander Neyo, Commander Cody, 2x Clone Pilot, Republic Astromech, 2x Galactic Marine, a 41st Scout, 2x 327th trooper, and a 91st trooper.

I don't even care, we're double posting:

Force Awakens wave. On the bright side, literally every system set from TFA is due for a remake, so I more or less have free rein, but I'll do my best to make things a bit interesting.

Rey's Speeder ($9.99): Rey and BB-8. Similar to the 2015 model, just not comically oversized.

First Order Transporter Microfighter ($12.99): Captain Phasma

Kylo Ren Mech ($14.99): Kylo Ren (new hood mold with the helmet covering the face)

First Order Attack ($19.99): 2x first order stormtrooper, 1x First Order Heavy Assault stormtrooper, 1x Flametrooper. Build is a small turret alongside a weapons rack with riot shields and batons.

First Order Snowspeeder ($34.99): Smaller than 2015 model. Comes with 2x first order snowtrooper, Han Solo, and Finn.

Poe Dameron's X-wing ($54.99): Poe Dameron (pilot), BB-8, 2x resistance trooper, and General Leia Organa.

Maz's Castle Assault ($89.99): Small interior cantina with the two side walls (that can fold out for more space or stay inwards for the more canonical look). Features are included to knock down portions of the walls, and there's a buildable HURID-327, as well as a 501st flag easter egg. Comes with Maz Kanata, Finn, Rey, Chewbacca, Kylo Ren, a First Order Stormtrooper, Captain Ithano, and Varmik.

First Order TIE fighter vs Resistance X-wing ($109.99): Blue and grey T-70 X-wing and First Order TIE fighter. Comes with Ello Asty, Jess Pava, 1x First Order TIE fighter pilot, General Hux, a resistance BB-unit, and first order snowtrooper commander.

First Order Trooper Transporter ($129.99): Comes with Captain Phasma, 1x First Order Technician, 4x First Order Stormtrooper, Lor San Tekka, Kylo Ren, and Poe Dameron (jacket)

UCS: Poe Dameron's Black One X-wing Starfighter ($239.99): Poe Dameron (dual molded legs, printed arms), BB-8.

Every Sequel set needs a remake, and whilst I don’t like those films I think the scaled down versions where necessary would look great. Most the sets will feel refreshing anyway!

I’d have chosen all of those I have quoted. Good ideas!

Same. I really only like about a third of the trilogy (I used to think TROS wasn't too bad, but I think the only thing I really liked about it was retconning all the TLJ stuff), but it has some excellent designs. And it's also one of the biggest victims of size creep with how big the T-70s were getting, so the starfighters and rey's speeder at least would benefit from a downsize.

Thank you!

TLJ's my least favorite of the films- as I always like to say, my expectations of "a good movie" were definitely subverted- but it also has my favorite sequel designs in terms of the Silencer, AT-M6, and Star Fortresseses. Whatever was happening with the story and themes, the ship design team was firing on all cylinders.

Rey's Training ($9.99): A hut facade for luke and the boulder thing Rey trains by in that shot that was so prominent in the trailers, with a turntable for rey to swing a lightsaber into the boulder and knock it over. Comes with Rey and Old Man Luke.

Poe Dameron's X-wing Microfighter ($12.99): Poe Dameron (pilot), bb-8.

Praetorian Guard Mech ($14.99): Comes with a few different weapon options and a Praetorian Guard minifigure

First Order vs Resistance Battle Pack ($19.99): 2x first order snowtrooper, 2x resistance trooper. Build is a dish turret and some Crait terrain.

First Order AT-ST ($44.99): First Order AT-ST (with head this time) with a First Order Walker driver, First Order executioner, Finn (officer disguise), and Captain Phasma (battle damaged)

Throne Room Battle ($54.99): Snoke's throne and some area in front of it with turntables to pose figures. Comes with Supreme Leader Snoke, Rey, Kylo Ren, and 2x Praetorian Guard.

TIE Silencer vs A-wing ($109.99): (downsized from 2018 model): Comes with Kylo Ren, BB-9E, BB-8, a First Order Special Forces TIE Pilot, Tallie Lintra, and Poe Dameron (fatigues).

Star Fortress Bomber ($129.99): Red livery. Comes with Finch Dallow, Nix Jerd, Spennie, Paige Tico, Rose Tico, a Resistance Flight Engineer, General Leia, and Admiral Ackbar.

AT-M6 Assault ($179.99): AT-M6 (~1300 pcs) and resistance Ski Speeder (~300 pcs). Comes with 2x First Order Walker Driver, 2x First Order Snowtrooper, General Hux, Poe Dameron (ski speeder pilot), Finn (Ski Speeder pilot), Chewbacca, and Admiral Ematt.

UCS: Kylo Ren's TIE Silencer ($239.99): Kylo Ren (Printed arms), BB-9E.

My thoughts are very similar. It gives me TPM vibes, but I actually like that film.

All TLJ ideas here are fantastic, thoroughly enjoyed reading them! I knew I liked the UCS Tie Silencer but I didn’t realise how much I want a UCS version.

Here is a list of UCS/MBS sets that I would buy. I have never bought a UCS set before.

UCS AT-TE Walker £349.99 - Anakin Skywalker (Republic insignia), Phase I AT-TE Driver/Clone Gunner

Thank you! The silencer's a beautiful ship, probably the best of the OT-vehicle-parallels. I think the altered, sleeker cockpit rather than the standard TIE pod really helps the design.

These are all excellent and I'm guessing an AT-TE is coming fall 2026, now that the UCS AT-AT's been retired for a bit and they've had time to gauge the success of the Venator.

TROS wave. Like TLJ, strongly dislike much of the movie, but it had some killer designs:

First Order Treadspeeder ($9.99): Treadspeeder with play feature to launch a jet trooper. Comes with a Treadspeeder Driver and Jet Trooper

Night Buzzard Microfighter ($12.99): Comes with Cardo. (This is partially a way to manually decrease the excessive price of the helmet- clearly castle fans will want to army-build this microfighter.)

Sith Trooper Mech ($14.99): Sith Trooper

Sith Eternal Battle Pack ($19.99): 2x Sith Trooper, 1x Sith Jet Trooper, 1x First Order Stormtrooper.

Battle on exogol ($29.99): Sith Throne build with play features to knock a figure off the throne or off two spots in front of it. Comes with Rey, Ben Solo, and Palpatine (Eternal)

UA-TT ($59.99): Claw can hold a minifigure. Comes with Poe Dameron (Nathan Drake cosplay), Finn, General Pryde, 1x UA-TT pilot, and 1x caped First Order Snowtrooper.

TIE Whisper ($69.99): TIE Whisper with a molded Wayfinder, as well as an Ommin Harness build. Comes with Kylo Ren, Palpatine (Ommin Harness), a Sith Cultist, and Sith Eternal Officer.

Poe Dameron's X-wing vs TIE Dagger ($109.99): More in-line with the 2021- ship scale. Comes with Poe Dameron (Pilot), BB-8, a Final Order Pilot, General Lando, Aftab Ackbar, and a First Order Stormtrooper.

Xyston-Class Star Destroyer ($179.99): Has a technic cannon mounted in the superlaser. Comes with General Pryde, 2x Final Order Officer, Ap'lek, Vicrul, Cardo, Kuruk, Ushar, and Trudgen.

UCS: Kylo Ren's Command Shuttle ($239.99): Kylo Ren (dual-molded helmet with transparent red kintsugi cracks), Rey (arm printing)

@Mandalorianknight great ideas, as always. I have no idea what to read now you’re done with the movies.

You underestimate my... amount of projects to draw from. I'm only around halfway done, I plan on a list for three movies (RO, Solo, Clone Wars- The Siege of Mandalore, not the 2007 movie), three for animated series (The Clone Wars, Rebels, and a catch-all for CW2003/Tales/Visions/Resistance), three for live-action series (Mandalorian, Ahsoka, than a catch-all for Andor/Kenobi/TBOBF), and potentially even an Heir to the Empire wave.

So here's the Rogue One wave:

INTRA-WAVE GIMMICK: Sets Rebel Ambush, Scarif Defenders Battle Pack, Master Switch Assault, and Citadel Ambush can be combined to make a larger Scarif battlefield. Semicircular and quarter-circle elements form small islets or  just notable features on the beach, with the rail depot segment being able to be placed between the bunker entrance and citadel.

Rebel Ambush ($9.99): A half-circle segment consisting of a Palm tree and ferns with a feature for a rebel trooper to pop out at the imperial. Comes with 1x Rebel Trooper (Melshi) and 1x Stormtrooper.

Assault Tank Microfighter ($12.99): TX-225 with a Tank Trooper

Cassian Andor's K-2SO Mech ($14.99): The mech is built to resemble K-2SO, piloted by Cassian (Blue jacket)

Scarif Defenders Battle Pack ($19.99): E-web and a rectangular chunk of landing platform. One of two quarter-circle segments with a bit of foilage can be attacked to each side. Comes with 2x Shore Trooper, 1x Death Trooper, and 1x Stormtrooper.

Master Switch Assault ($37.99):  Imperial bunker entrance with some supports behind it and a bit of sandy terrain in front of it, as well as a small Master Switch build on a semicircular bit of terrain. Comes with Chirrut Imwe, Colonel Tonc, a Shoretrooper Squad Leader, and 1x Stormtrooper

Hovertank Ambush ($37.99): TX-225 Occupier tank with three small crates, alongside a small Jedha facade . Comes with  1x Tank Commander, 1x Tank Trooper, 1x Stormtrooper (Crystal holder backpack), Jyn Erso, and Edrio Two-Tubes.

Death Star Plans Heist ($79.99): Citadel tower with interior vaultroom entrance, data vault tower, and satellite catwalk up top. Comes with Cassian Andor (tan shirt), Jyn Erso (Ground Crew outfit), K-2SO, an Imperial Officer, Stormtrooper, and Director Krennic.

TIE Reaper ($99.99): TIE Reaper that can hold up to two pilots and 10 troopers. Comes with 1x TIE pilot, 2x Death Trooper Specialist, 2x Death Trooper, and Baze Malbus.

AT-ACT Depot Attack ($179.99): Somewhat smaller than an AT-AT, with a removable center cargo container. Also included is a depot side build with a set of rails, ground vehicle, and a crane that can attach to the side of the cargo container and move it from the AT-ACT to the rails. Comes with 2x AT-ACT pilot, 1x shoretrooper squad leader, 2x imperial ground crew, Pao, Bodhi Rook, Bistan, and 1x Rebel Trooper (Private Bastaren).

UCS: UCS U-wing ($319.99): Full-minifig scaled U-wing with 2-seater cockpit (new cockpit mold), interior space, pintle-mounted guns, etc. Comes with Cassian Andor (brown jacket), K-2SO, Jyn Erso (Tan vest), Baze Malbus, Chirrut Imwe, and Bodhi Rook.

I’ve been thinking a lot about the future direction of Lego Star Wars.

With the explosion of sub themes since 2020 - and their coming, going, and eventual end of them -, including the newest arrival, that is the Busts, combined with the rumoured smart brick sets, I’m not overly optimistic how they’ll keep the theme feeling fresh. Especially as I can’t think of new sub-theme ideas they could do.

So, here’s a list of traditional play-scale sets that have not been released at all, or in a specific context i.e film, scene etc, or unsatisfactorily/in need of a remake. As you will see, there’s plenty. Feel free to add any minifigures into the below if it inspires you in any way.

Agreed- for all their attempts to splinter into gimmicks, the best thing the theme could do is just refocus on playscale.

Adding figures to these would be a nice distraction, I'll take you up on it and add some price points and details.

Spoiler

TPM

Naboo Starfighter vs Vulture Droid ($59.99): 1x Naboo Pilot, Anakin Skywalker (young), Padme (battle dress), 2x B1 battle droid.

Boonta Eve Podrace  ($149.99): 4 podracers - Anakin's, Sebulba's, Ben Quadrinaros's, and Gasganos, all around 300 pieces each- with a start/finish line. Comes with Anakin Skywalker, Sebulba, Gasgano, Ben Quadrinaros, 2x Anakin's Pit Droid, 2x Sebulba's Pit Droid, Shmi, Qui-Gon, and Watto.

Gungan Sub: Journey to Topeka City ($54.99): Qui-Gon Jinn, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jar Jar, Boss Nass

Great list and agreed that there are too many sub theme sets cutting into good playsets.

adding a few OT playsets

Agreed- for all their attempts to splinter into gimmicks, the best thing the theme could do is just refocus on playscale.

Adding figures to these would be a nice distraction, I'll take you up on it and add some price points and details.

Imperial Army Trooper Battlepack: 2 Army Troopers, 1 Army Trooper NCO and a Stormtrooper

Rebel Navy Battlepack (BF2 Based): 2 Heavies, Navy Officer and a Assault (with satchel)

Same. A Reaper would be the most likely, I think, but I wouldn't mind a new tank or any of the scarif battle sets.

Solo's going to be tricky, but I'll give it a try.

Very solid calendars and battle packs- I like the addition of pajama dooku.

Solo wave:

Imperial Patrol Speeder ($9.99): Patrol Trooper, Imperial Emigration Officer.

Kessel Millenium Falcon Microfighter ($12.99): Han Solo. A detachable segment for the escape pod is included.

Lando Mech ($14.99): Yellow shirt Lando. The mech is built to look like L3-37.

Galactic Thugs Battle Pack ($19.99): two speeder bikes and two crates- one with credit tiles and one with blasters and vribroblades with 1x Kessel Guard, 1x Pyke Enforcer, 1x Dryden Bodyguard, and 1x White Worm.

Dryden Vos Battle ($29.99): Museum and desk builds (the desk has a maul hologram stored in a drawer, and one of the museum builds includes a Mandalorian chestplate and helmet) to topple some of the displays. Comes with Dryden Vos (double-sided face), Han Solo, and Qi'ra.

Conveyex Heist ($159.99): Conveyex train with 5 cars- front and back engines, a passenger car, gunnery car, and coaxium car. Uses a rollercoaster track as train tracks, and includes the probe droid next Val destroys. Includes Han Solo, Chewbacca, Val, Beckett, Rio, 2x Imperial Gunner, 3x Range Trooper, and 1x Imperial Officer.

UCS: UCS Millenium Falcon ($899.99- not entirely based on Solo, because I don't believe anything from the movie is much of a UCS candidate): Comes with a full interior and the following minifigures: Chewbacca, Han Solo (Young), Young Lando (space-hawiian shirt), Han Solo (ANH), Princess Leia, Luke Skywalker (Farmboy), C-3PO, R2-D2,  Han Solo (Old), Rey, Finn, BB-8.

Happily, worth noting I avoided them to stay in step with the original post.

adding a few OT playsets

ANH:

lars homestead - Owen, Beru, Luke, (small hut and an evaporator) - focus on above ground to recreate the scene of Luke looking at the twin suns.  $35 in today's prices - maybe $45 hard to price things anymore.

bantha attack - Molded bantha (think wooly mammoth style) small build of rocks and scenery, Luke land speeder, Obi-wan, Luke, 2 tuskens, C-3PO.  $70 because of the molded bantha

Ronto - Molded Ronto , Jawa, swoop rider, few droids, small mos eisly build and a swoop -  $90 because of the molded Ronto

outrider - Dash Rendar, Lebo, throw in two sand troopers ($150) really just the outrider build

ESB:

rebel transport (inside could be a rebel command center) - Come with Leia, two rebel pilots (would prefer to get some remakes with this like Wes Janson even though they didn't fly on these), two rebel officers (maybe toryn Farr again) and a few rebel troopers, throw in an astromech, build is a rebel transport playset that would have some cargo drop play functions, opens up for a command center, and has a side build of the ion cannon.  Call it $170-200 with todays prices (thinking like the star destroyer how it opens up)

Rotj:

Ewok village. - Needs to have two maybe three trees, a handful of Ewoks, Leia (in Ewok garb), maybe some storm trooper helmets, a fire area - $200 thinking along the lines of the Yavin 4 base.

and most importantly a tie avenger - Cassian, few range troopers, and the droid.  $70-$80

We did!

To keep as in-step with the original as I remember, maybe adjusting for inflation: Resistance Lifeboat ($54.99): Comes with General Leia, Nien Numb, Lieutenant Connix, and Kylo Ren (Unmasked)

That's a cool exercise in seeing how the same basic concept can be very different depending on price, details, and figure setup.

Generic rebel and imperial battle packs would be so nice. Especially an Imperial Army one- it works not only for canon stuff like Andor and Solo, but the throughline in older Legends of stormtroopers being the elite shock troops and the standard imperials being those army troopers.

Tying off that spinoff movie trilogy with a Siege of Mandalore wave:

Yerbana attack ($9.99): 1x Dwarf spider droid and a bit of bridge terrain with a 212th trooper and 501st jet trooper.

Gauntlet Starfighter Microfighter ($12.99): Bo-Katan Kryze

Mandalorian Mech ($14.99): Gar Saxon

Mandalorian Forces Battle Pack ($19.99): 1x Mandalorian Loyalist (male), 1x Nite Owl (female), 1x Mauldalorian (Male), 1x Mauldalorian (female). Build is some of the sewer tunneling with a function to blow out a wall, as well as a small mortar.

Catwalk Duel ($24.99): Build of the catwalk on the dome's ceiling with functions to sever beams. Comes with Darth Maul and Ahsoka Tano.

Hallway Rampage ($54.99): Venator hallway with sliding door and reactor room facade. Comes with Darth Maul, 2x 501st trooper, 2x 332nd trooper, and an unmarked clone trooper.

Maul's Gauntlet Fighter ($89.99): Maul's gauntlet ship with Rook Kast, Gar Saxon, Darth Maul, Bo-Katan, a Nite Owl, and Prime Minister Almec (armored)

Battle of Yerbana ($109.99): Droid command station, Snail Tank, Tri-Fighter, Headhunter, and a build of some cover rubble. Comes with Anakin Skywalker, a Clone Pilot, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Commander Cody, Captain Rex (Jetpack), 1x Clone Jet Trooper, Tactical Droid, b1 droid commander, 2x b2 battle droid, and 1x buzz droid.

Republic LAAT Gunship ($139.99): Comes with 2x clone pilot, 2x 332nd trooper, Captain Rex (Jetpack), Ahsoka Tano, and 2x Mauldalorian.

Lovely. This should have been the 2020 August wave.

My pitch for Rebuild the Galaxy Season 3:

So far we’ve had remixed characters (such as Jedi Vader/ Darth Rey), normal characters (such as Leia and Cal Kestis), Legends Characters (such as Jaxxon, Darth Revan and Kyle Katarn) and Buildable characters (such as Ahsoka and Chewbacca)

Season 3 would continue to add more of these, but with a new type of character added into the mix. Crossover characters.

Spoiler

All the following are possible since the Forcehold (a parts dump from all the other galaxies) has now been emptied into the RTG galaxy.

Title

Rebuild the Galaxy: The future is what we make it.

Plot

Spoiler

Forcehold has now been emptied. While this means we can bring in a slew of heroic characters. We have to wonder who could have been put there for a reason? Why did Solitus want to completely destroy Forcehold? The relevant question is, who was he trying to get rid of?

A Dark twisted version of Jek 14 surfaces, as well as the original Rowan Freemaker, now a Jedi master. Can the Forcebuilders stop Jek from rebuilding the Galaxy into his own image? Will the Jedi set aside their differences with the Sith to realise that sometimes you need to break in order to start again?

Dark Jek flips the scales as he’s a villain who creates rather than destroys. Rather than the stereotypical Sith Breaker. He has established a prison where he harvests the inmates’ creativity with the Turtle-gullet. Eventually turning them insane.

Character Suggestions

Just their normal selves (both Canon and Legends):

  • Starkiller
  • Mara Jade (but she’s just always been around in the Remixed Galaxy unlike other new additions)
  • Dash Rendar
  • Thrawn (Ascendancy)
  • Rowan Freemaker (Now freed from Forcehold after an accident he made whilst experimenting)
  • R0GER
  • Bix Calleen

Remixed

  • Dark Jedi Max Rebo (Baylan equivalent)
  • Dark Jedi Sy Snootles (Shin equivalent)
  • Death Stick Troopers
  • Grand Moff Poe Dameron (from the alternate reality)
  • Lord Commander FN2187 (from the alternate reality, Red Sith Trooper armour with white streaks across his visor)
  • Chirrut Imwe and Baze Malbus as Blue Guards
  • Chef Gideon (runs a cantina called Los Rawkas Hemanos on Mandalore)
  • Office Worker Din Djarin (frequent customer of Los Rawkas Hermanos)
  • Dark Jek-14 (from an alternate reality where everything in Yoda Chronicles transpired exactly according to Count Dooku’s plan)

Buildable Characters

  • Tusken Raider Brickheadz
  • Commander Cody Brickheadz
  • Chopper (Assault Tank)
  • B2EM0 (Sand Crawler)
  • Babu Frik (now repairing freighters)

Crossover characters

  • Phineas and Ferb (supporting role)
  • Wookie Team Leader and Apprentice Evie (don’t play Fortnite but it’d make a fun cameo)
  • Indiana Jones (Cameo)
  • Maggie Simpson (Background cameo)
  • Green Lantern Clone Trooper (it was me Siggy!!)
  • Jedi SpongeBob (has rivalry with Jedi Bob)
  • Clone Trooper Patrick Starr (a Bad Batch type experiment for Ackbar Troopers)
  • Darth Man
  • Deadpool (cameo and voice line teasing the 2027 Lego Marvel x Star Wars special in the final fight)

Set ideas

Phineas and Ferb’s Landspeeder vs Jek-14 (£39.99): Sig Greebling, Phineas, Ferb, Dark Jek-14 (Jek having a rift of bricks below him like Sandman minifigures)

BB-8 Wing (£59.99): Indiana Jones, Thrawn, Dev Greebling, and Rowan Freemaker.

B2EM0 Rubble Crawler (£59.99): Bix Calleen, Max Rebo, Starkiller and Jedi Bob

Tie Avenger (£69.99): Mara Jade, Lord Commander FN2187, Green Lantern Clone Trooper and Grand Moff Poe Dameron.

Detention Cell-block 2024 (£69.99): Sy Snootles, Darth Man, Yesi Scala, Patrick Trooper, Office Din Djarin and Jedi SpongeBob. (Build is a detention block and a Turtle Gullet.)

The creativity in this thread continues to amaze me, great work everyone!

This area has already been addressed multiple times now but I thought I’d give it a shot. I have the Indiana Jones diorama from 2023 still on my bookshelf and can’t get over how well it strikes a balance between display and play value despite being an 18+ model. I’d love to see Star Wars dioramas with this level of functional integration, and a subline of relatively small sub-£50 dioramas (laughs in LSW pricing) covering duels across the Star Wars saga would be awesome.

- Each set would follow an identical footprint of x by y studs, meaning they can connect next to each other. A tile featuring a suitable quote and the logo from the represented film would be included on the base.

- A new lightsaber blade mould would be introduced that looks like the blades are ‘swooshing’. Similar to what some Hasbro Black Series figures include (e.g, Count Dooku, the SDCC-exclusive Anakin and Obi-Wan duel, etc.). The Ninjago Epic Battles sets from a few years ago had something similar with new weapon moulds to evoke a sense of dynamic movement.

- Each diorama would include an integrated function evoking a specific scene within a duel. These would be well hidden much like the functions for the Indiana Jones diorama.

Focusing on the prequels for now:

1. Duel of the Fates

- Includes Darth Maul, Qui-Gon Jinn, and Obi-Wan Kenobi
- Diorama: Area around the opening Theed hangar door Maul first reveals himself behind (Quote: “We’ll handle this”.)
- Function: Hangar door opens to reveal  Maul whilst allowing Qui-Gon / Obi to ‘move’ towards him

2. Duel on Geonosis

- Includes Yoda and Count Dooku

-  Diorama: Geonosian hangar, predominantly some of the archways as well as the boarding ramp to Dooku’s Solar Sailer (Quote: “I’ve become more powerful than any Jedi…even you.”)

- Function: Yoda ‘jumps and flips’ (this will require a neck bracket) to clash blades with Dooku, who turns on the spot

3. Palpatine’s Arrest

- Includes Mace Windu and Darth Sidious

- Diorama: Palpatine’s main office desk and curved window. Small build of the Coruscant cityscape behind the window (Quote: “You are under arrest, my lord.”)

- Function: Mace and Palpatine turn in opposing directions, allowing the window to ‘shatter’ and exposing the small cityscape build

4. Battle of the Heroes

- Includes Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi

- Diorama: The Mustafar catwalk upon which the two duel after making a smoothie out of the control centre (Quote: “Only a Sith deals in absolutes. I will do what I must.”)

- Function: Obi-Wan and Anakin move towards each other to clash blades, whilst small builds representing lava and flames rotate out from behind the catwalk.
