I have been getting myself all worked up for the black panther helmet mold. Now, you are telling me it is all gone like nothing ever happened?

Eh, while a new helmet mold for Black Panther would have been nice, at least that means Killmonger won't look obsolete.  Really the most important part is getting confirmation we're getting a purple glow variant.  The 2018 glow variant figure being blue always did bug me.  Anyways, I feel like an unmasked T'Challa head could still show up in the CMF, or if they revisit the Black Panther movie with more Infinity Saga sets next year.

It could still be possible as most marvel £35-45 sets have 4 figures, but I suppose the build would have to be compromised/nerfed to allow a 5th figure.

So you're telling me that some people were excited about a fake rumour about a single character's new helmet mould, and now they are unexcited and disappointed with the whole wave? Yeah, don’t get me wrong, I’m disappointed by the lack of a new Black Panther mask mold and T’Challa face print, but I’m still very excited for these new sets. I don’t have any Black Panther minifigures so I’m glad to be acquiring two of him this June regardless.

Off topic from black panther but I heard from someone that were getting a Bigfig lizard as part of the bugle set, probably not true but what does everyone think?

I wasn’t particularly looking forward to the helmet, but I won’t deny that it looks good.

For clarity, checking through the thread, Lego_Fulcrum was definitely our primary source stating Black Panther would get a "new helmet/cowl mold". It's possible that they had an unreliable source OR that perhaps we'll get Black Panther with a helmet/cowl mold in a different set (CMF?). *Guessing it was on his 'story' so it might have been an aspect they were not sure of that we took as factual.

I can understand the disappointment, Black Panther having an update may have convinced me to get the set, but if it's just another variant fixing the blue issue from the last version then it's a set I can pass on. It's odd that Shuri and the Chitauri would seemingly get a lot of attention, but Black Panther would'nt. Kinda felt they would go all out on Black Panther.

Seems unlikely as the set is already going to be including 14 figures and if it includes a Big Fig either as one of these or in addition that'd probably impact the price/parts ratio more. Personally would rather have a minifigure scale version and they already have all they need to do that based on the Lizard man they made for CMF series 5 a while back.

More disappointed with the lack of leg and cat ear printing than a new helmet tbh (fine with the ears, helmet might be too bulky), especially considering we're finally getting a screen accurate purple suit. Although... It's Lego so expectations should probably always be tempered before one lays eyes on official images. 

Besides, if Legacy sets end up selling well, there's always a chance for an unmasked T'Challa later down the line. Final BP fight, small set, one of those train-cart things, unmasked Killmonger and T'Challa? I could see it.

@Scarilian - no, it's not a color altered print, it's entirely new Legogo even compare it like a custom one on how good it is. But sadly it will still feel incomplete without leg printing. And it's gonna be hard to fix that with being purist.

Yeah, it's definitely disappointing, but at least the new BP now won't look out of place next to the older versions  I'd be a lot more sad if the Thanos info was wrong, but that part has definitely been confirmed by promobricks

Agreed, The cat ears need printing to look complete. That is one of the reasons I love that Civil War figure the most.

Who amongst you guys follow cm4sci in IG? He reposted a set picture of US agent saying such a great costume sad we'll never get a minifigure of him..  some kinda like that. 

If he knows something probably FATWS set won't include him.

So either no John Walker or no TFaTWS set at all. That kinda sucks, but if we get a set based on that series that means the chances of getting Zemo are higher.

Say, RE the Spider-Man Vs Doc Ock Mech set, is it just me or is the build for Spider-Man’s Mech almost identical and just recoloured from Miles’ Mech? The shoulder pads and small feet in particular look very distinctive and very similar.
