SEmrys Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Curious to see what the other building is. And 14+ figs, amazing! I'm not getting my hopes up but I still suspect we might see some more Defenders show up. Personally I hope we get several more Bugle staff as well.

I have an idea that there will be a Sinister Six in the set.

Yeah, obviously I don't know anything, it's just my take on the 'series of missed opportunities' comment (it could be CMF related like most people think, but I'm just considering the possibility it's Netflix series related). Jessica Jones even worked for the Bugle at one point. The Sinister Six makes sense. Although really with a place like the Bugle you could throw in any number of villains. Really hope we get a proper look soon.
THELEGOBATMAN Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 That sounds excellent - 14+ minifigures, modular Daily Bugle, another smaller building? I can't wait to see it, and it should be soon enough.
Legocentrico Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 I read about the "second building" on instagram, but is the source reliable?

spiderfan2000 Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Hmm, I wonder if the second building will be the Nelson and Murdock Law Office. We're getting 14+ figures, and we currently know about half of them (Spider-Man, Peter Parker, J. Jonah Jameson, Daredevil, Punisher, Black Cat, and Venom.) I could see Betty Brant and Robbie Robertson being included to populate the Bugle. Maybe Eddie Brock too. As for villains, Kingpin seems like a likely option, considering he's a foe of Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the Punisher. Scorpion has ties to Jameson, so I could see him being included. If Robertson is Included, I could see Tombstone being included as well considering their history. I do hope we get Classic Electro and Comic Shocker, considering how prominent those designs are.

The probability that there will be a set of "Nelson and Murdock" is. But I have a feeling that that 2 building is an ordinary store. If the set is based on comic books, then we can get classic versions of the villains!

I’d sort of love to see a ‘Jewel’ figure.

I don't think they dated (though I may be wrong - maybe in one of the many alternate universes) but they did go to school together. Tbh, all the Netflix heroes have some sort of link to Spider-Man, so they would fit.

Tbh every marvel superhero has had some sort of link to spider-man if you ask me :-) one of my favorite comics were the team-ups back in the day. If there is going to be a second building, a nelson & murdock, or heroes for hire office would be cool. I can also see them making an appartment for peter as well.

Haha, I did think that as I was writing it. But I was thinking them all being on the New Avengers together was more substantial a connection than say... Spider-Man and War Machine (plus the aforementioned classmates thing, Cage and Fist being in Ultimate Spider-Man and Spidey, DD and Punisher's semi-regular team ups). I'd love it if Nelson & Murdock was the other building. Maybe with an Alias Investigations office on one of the floors? Edited April 1, 2021 by SEmrys

This will be the best Spider-Man set ever!
Scarilian Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Confirmation of May again, good :) 14 Figures is pretty reasonable considering that a lot are potentially new, though I hope they are more detailed than that teaser image... speaking of which the teaser image is from Lego Marvel's Avengers... is that perhaps the basis for the set? We know of: Spider-man, Venom, Peter Parker, J.J.Jameson, Daredevil, Punisher and Black Cat... so we have another 7 figures to be revealed. Most likely it'd be along the lines of supporting characters for the Daily Bugle and additional villains to accompany Venom, as per the remark 'one of the villains'. Personally would expect Eddie Brock, Betty Brant, Robbie Robertson, Electro, Green Goblin, Doctor Octopus and Mary Jane Watson as the other seven figures: Eddie provides an alter-ego for Venom Robbie & Betty provide some more characters for casual Daily Bugle activities Electro is in Spider-man: NWH, so can see this being a good time to get a comic version of him Green Goblin and Doctor Octopus are quite popular and would help sell the set Mary Jane Watson has not really had an iconic figure to represent her Not particularly interested in a second building, if It's Nelson & Murdock then I can see Franklin 'Foggy' Nelson instead of a potential Mary Jane Watson figure.

The minor characters are most likely someone from the Daily Bugle staff and the villains. There is a chance that LEGO will put in a set of villains that were in the Spider-Man 2021 winter sets . NXS7 Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 Not that I've really kept up with the statues, but pretty sure official photos of Venom just released. It does look pretty good, but I'm more of a Carnage fan myself

Personally I expect Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Daredevil, Punisher, Black Cat, JJJ, Venom and a generic Bugle employee since LEGO has that tendency of placing some random guy in a Spidey set(Looking at you random firefighter from LEGO FFH set) Would be cool if each villain who appeared also have their alter egos as separate figs(Norman Osborn,Eddie Brock) but there's a 50/50% chance of that happening 41 minutes ago, Quicksilver838 said: Not that I've really kept up with the statues, but pretty sure official photos of Venom just released. oxy220 Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 T and Bricks posted a drawing of the Daily Bugle on Instagram, based, I think, on the official image. It looks good. But I don't know if it's true or not.

oxy220 Posted April 1, 2021 Posted April 1, 2021 It seems to me that the Daily Bugle will be about the same size as the 10278 - Police Station set.
