I like the retro design quite a bit but i also don't like the minifigs choice. Classic spacemen would have been great with it :)

This would go well with my retro space ship :)

The summer Star Wars sets have been revealed, and the "Rebuild the Galaxy" snowspeeder has a cool black and trans-yellow windscreen that looks like it'd be fun for Blacktron MOCs.

New yellow windscreen. I'd gladly buy this set if it weren't for the stickers, despite the price being outrageous. So, I'll bricklink or PAB multiples of the canopy instead.

Same with the new snowspeeder. I'm sick of Star Wars but, a ridiculously colored snowspeeder with a new trans yellow canopy would be enough to pull me in. If it weren't for the entire thing relying on stickers. Flame printed tiles and fins would be awesome, but I'm just not paying for stickers anymore, at least not for SW sets, and not at these inflated prices.

Oh my... Another canopy for the PAB list. And I still have to purchase a couple of those Blacktron Rover canopy.

Yeah, I guess we're eating pretty good on trans yellow canopies this year. I just wish I liked the sets better...

So I ended up getting the Moon Car since I had the points sitting around, and with thanks to @RichardGoring I picked up the good dome helmet pieces at the same time, and some hair pieces. Pick a Brick was incredibly slow. I would have perused it for more parts I wanted, but it's just painful.

Excellent! I did the same thing and got a couple of helmet domes which arrived yesterday. Now need to decide which figures go into it. I still think the retro space CMF will be best, but at least it gives some flexibility. Have you built it yet? Was it good?

I'm a bit on the fence of whether or not to use Insider points on this one. I might instead save them up for another Insider Reward next year...

Nope, just ordered it this morning! Will report back later.

I still need to order one, but I am thinking of using the blue astronaut torso from the 2019 City space people pack with light blue/dark blue dual-moulded legs (currently available on PAB).

Oh yes, that's a nice option.

My moon car arrived in the same package as the helmets & hair which was convenient. I really like the build, especially the craters. No stickers!
