blaz62 Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 I present to you mine new alternate model for 42112 Concrete Mixer Truck set->silo transport truck. The creation consists of a trailer truck and a silo. Silos can be loaded onto the trailer via the mechanism. "Concrete" bricks can be load in silos and unload with silo door. Functions:-HOG-Steering, -workable 4-cylinder inline engine, -adjusting the angle of the rearview mirrors,-locking mechanism of fifth wheel, -trailer landing legs, -stabilization legs for unloading, -silo decomposition mechanism,-silo door can be opening and closing. Zerobricks Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Brilliant idea using the drum as a silos! Quote
1gor Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 This could be at least B model. Very cool a d original creation. Quote
Rudivdk Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 This is really well done! Nice use of the available colors and parts, and an overall convincing appearance. Bonus points for Mack-compatibility Quote
Oliver 79 Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 This is really nice. It's good to see a new use for the cement drum parts. Quote
Ngoc Nguyen Posted October 6, 2020 Posted October 6, 2020 Me upon seeing: Replace "we" with "TLG" Quote
Qukie Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 That is just awesome. Congratulations on a great build. Quote
sirslayer Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Great Idea!!! I really like it and it would be the best B model due to a silo concept. You get a High 5!!! Quote
blaz62 Posted October 7, 2020 Author Posted October 7, 2020 Thanks to all. My first question is been what can i make from new part? I had few diffrent ideas but in the end this was the best. Also parts list wasn't the best. Set have so manj diffrent colures and that was also little challenge to put this in right places. Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Very original idea, great work! Quote
trekman Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Nice idea. It was a shame that the set did not have any Linear Actuators, as that lifting mechanism for the Silo is just begging for an actuator and winder. Quote
blaz62 Posted October 13, 2020 Author Posted October 13, 2020 @trekman I tried to make some system (with gears) to lift, but silo is to heavy. Large LA will be great for this. @Ngoc Nguyen You make my day Quote
