There is no definitive answer to this, it really depends what you want it to do. I have the original sbrick from Kickstarter and find the responsiveness fine, plus there is a decent app and it is also possible to control from a pi with a Bluetooth module added. I find the four ports enough for everything I do. Some people complain about the battery box size and that buwizz with its built in power is more space efficient. However I use a custom (cut) Lego cable to connect to a smaller RC car battery. That way, the sbrick can be buried in the model and only the battery needs to be removed for charging. And you can have spares pre-charged.

IMHO , its Buwizz ???obviously,

Sbrick ???

Buwizz is independent

Sbrick depend on Battery box and one more thing Extension Wire it's not convenient at all, added weight and lot of space that occupied ..

Personally, I don't like having the receivers and battery boxes combined into one part.  If four ports is all you need, than this might work fine for you, but in my opinion, this is the downside to Buwizz and PU.  I'm thinking about buying some Sbricks just because I can have three Sbricks (12 ports) powered off of one PF battery box.  I never have room for three battery boxes, so the Sbrick is the better bluetooth solution for my needs.

That all being said, I do plan on getting a PU hub and a couple motors, but at this point, I'm not going to invest into PU heavily.  Too many drawbacks so far.

Great, the performance won’t be as good as three BuWizz

Ultimately it would depend on price range. Also could use BrickController2 with BuWizz and Sbrick an Powered up

Just for the record, you can use a BuWizz as a battery box for SBricks, and still be able to also power power function components independently off the ports.

I bought a BuWizz, and I will at some point buy an SBrick, or two, to raise the amounts of motors I can control to 8, or 12.

So let me get this straight, i can use a Buwizz as battery Box, set say one port for 11V and another for 9V, connect an SBrick to each of the "Power" ports and then connect my Motors to the SBricks ? (the 11V port would have 3 Motors, the 9V 4 motors - only the "9V SBrick" would have motors running concurrently, for the "11V" only one of the motors would run at the same time)

I seem to have space in my model to Exchange one of the SBricks for a Buwizz (actually in place of the Lego Battery Box) but on the spot where the 2nd SBrick is located there doesnt seem enough space for a 2nd BuWizz, otherwise i would just buy 2)

I don't believe you can set each port to a specific voltage/setting (i.e. slow, normal, fast, ludicrous), as it seems to be either they all get the power boost, or none at all. But you can hook them up to the BuWizz, and have them use it as a battery pack if you turn it on. And if you want to go faster, you can use the speed switch in your app to make all the ports go faster.

And you can also run motors off the ports the SBricks are connected to, and control them independently from the SBrick, something to do with how BuWizz powers the motors through 2 of the 4 pins, and the SBrick uses the 2 pins that the BuWizz just passively lets power through - though that may mean server motors could go screwy. But I'm not sure on that last bit about the servo, as this is just what I've read from a lucky soul who had both a BuWizz, and an SBrick.

Well, i am fine with ALL getting the power boost (i can always gear them down if those 4 are too fast), my main problem is, i dont have enough power for driving the model from a single XL Motor when using 9V Battery Pack (Crane 42082)
