LEGO Freight Hopper MOC

Hi all,

After spending a lot of time making Star Wars MOCs, I've ventured back into the realm of my imagination to come up with what for now will be called a Freight Hopper!

The design is based on one of my very first creations back when I was 12 or so, which I unfortunately don't have any pictures of. I re-imagined it and had a blast, so it might be something I do more often in future!

While it wasn't intentional it bears more than a passing resemblance to a Sikorsky CH-54 helicopter with its infamous missing middle. In my head this is a small freighter designed for short-range cargo deliveries or container handling in large freight depots.

At present it has four cargo pods on board, I'm planning on making a variety of different containers for different purposes so watch this space!

Nice, I enjoy the use of the Technic liftarms up top.  Its also really fun how it appears you've designed it so that cargo easily snaps in. :)

Nifty build!  I'm always a huge fan of truly retractable landing gear (something which I struggle with at times), and the landing gear on this MOC is really well done!  This MOC looks like it would be very much at home in The Expanse universe.
