I am locking this topic but feel free to repost in the appropriate subforum and actually showing off your build, if you'd like. Quote
BitByBrick Posted June 25 Posted June 25 It’s official… X-files will be a Lego set! Not sure where to post this great news. Quote
Valdeirus Posted August 19 Posted August 19 Hi, I have made the famous scene with the rabbit and the holy hand grenade made of LEGO! It is an official entry on LEGO IDEAS contest, it needs 10k votes of support to be considered a real set by LEGO! If you like it, support it on LEGO IDEAS (you can easily login with gmail, fb etc) and feel free to share it :) Thanks! https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/a800a160-62ad-4a77-a30e-6f2669391d3c Quote
Siroco Posted August 19 Posted August 19 An excellent adaptation of an excellent film! Supported! Quote
KotZ Posted September 2 Posted September 2 So, 146 projects have qualified for the second 2025 review. That's a ton. Quote
siuliano Posted September 2 Posted September 2 Sure is @KotZ . My 'The Martian' project is in there, and when I first scrolled through them looking for it, I actually couldn't find it lol!! Quote
CraftyMarshmallow Posted September 3 Posted September 3 I’d like to share my latest MOC a Speed Champions–style convertible roadster. I took inspiration from the Jaguar E-Type when designing this roadster, aiming to capture the sleek curves and classic feel in the Speed Champions scale I wanted to capture the feel of a classic open-top sports car in the compact 8-stud format. I had a lot of fun designing this and have also submitted it to LEGO Ideas. siuliano Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Love it! Just supported. #1030. Love the old E-Types. Quote
MAB Posted September 3 Posted September 3 The numbers passing have become ridiculous. I can't even be bothered to look through the qualifiers to think about what might be made this time. Quote
JGW3000 Posted September 3 Posted September 3 Set 21362 has created a great deal of excitement in the rock/mineral/nature collector community. Any idea when it might ship in October, available for pre-orders now. Quote

Just curious why this rule from https://beta.ideas.lego.com/rules-guidelines seems so hard for submitters to understand? My emphasis bolded. Quote Know what's already a LEGO Set We don’t accept ideas based on existing LEGO themes, such as LEGO Star Wars, projects too similar to ones that have already been approved as LEGO Ideas sets or anything resembling any LEGO set currently on shelves. Some broad overlap – for example, a build based on a Disney film that has never been a LEGO Disney set – will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Why waste your time when you should know ahead of time that it will never be produced. Quote

My emphasis bolded. Why waste your time when you should know ahead of time that it will never be produced. Because some people either don't read the IDEAS rules or don't believe they should apply to them. And often ignore Eurobricks rules too and set up an account and start multiple threads promoting their IDEAS submission and never come back. Quote
Blocksmith_ Posted September 24 Posted September 24 Ever since I started building with LEGO, I’ve loved the challenge of turning everyday objects into working models. This creation is a functional coin sorter, designed entirely out of LEGO bricks – but with a twist: I gave it a Steampunk look, combining mechanical function with a vintage, industrial aesthetic. The model doesn’t just sit on a shelf – it actually works. When you drop coins in, the mechanism sorts them by size as they travel through the gears and channels. To bring it to life, I added a Steampunk flavor: exposed gears, copper-style details, and a retro-futuristic vibe that makes it look like something out of an old inventor’s workshop. My goal was to merge functionality and storytelling. The model feels like it could belong in a 19th-century factory, or on the desk of a mad scientist counting their treasure. I’d love to hear what you think about it – both the mechanism itself and the design style. Do you prefer the engineering aspect, or the Steampunk look? ixinho Posted September 25 Posted September 25 hey community, I'm trying to pull off a birthday surprise for one of my best friends, an architect who created this LEGO model of a famous K67 hot dog kiosk. We’re now at 8.7k supporters, so close to the 10k milestone - but time is running out and support has slowed down. If you’d like to help give him the best birthday surprise ever, please take 30–40 seconds to register and vote here: https://beta.ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/3b5b75bd-5fb1-46ba-98dc-2ec5cf9c9310 Thank you so much! If you make it to 10,000 but don't get selected - from the site: Quote If your build does not make it past the review stage, you will still be a lifelong member of the 10K Club! You will also be rewarded for getting so far with a LEGO gift (up to three products of your choice, with a maximum total value of US$500, subject to availability). So you know, there's that. Probably the reason so many resubmissions get put in, and so many modular-style buildings that will never be produced. Quote
