Hello everybody.

Yesterday I decided to participate in [TC18] contest for the first time and here's progress made on my classic car.

I decided to build it after I saw a lot of modern cars in progress.

The photo of chassis will be posted later, because I don't want anybody to copy (Please don't be angry with me!).

The car will probably have a few functions :

  • Rear wheel drive
  • Steering operated by working steering wheel
  • Working 4 cylinder in-line engine

More photos coming soon.

Awesome! This already looks soo beautiful.

Thank you! It's my first contest with LEGO bricks, although I started building more than 10 years ago.

Put just some additional flex axles for windscreen, front grill, maybe some kind of centra axis of chassiss, nad You're done.

Also steering column almost as on real car.

It's still not finished, but the front part will be quite hard, I think.

Nice shaping so far. Cool to see yet another approach to bodywork (next to technic panels and system bricks), hurray for diversity!

Love this MOC! But me being me :innocent2:, I can't resist the urge to point out that "oldtimer" is a pseudo-anglicism. In "real" English it means an elderly person. Only in continental Europe this word is used in the sense of a "classic car".

Well, I'm not British so I don't have so big sense for words yet.:sceptic: But I've just improved the topic name to ¨Classic roadster¨.

Registered an account just to post on this! You have done a great job of capturing the old style lines that accompanied the classic roaster look if you ask me, nice job!
I do think that it needs something below the grill at the front though - as it sits now, it's a little too high.

Needs a hood and a little more filling to the sides and it's complete. Competition winning material for sure!

Thank you! As I said, this is my first contest, so I want to not to be the last one...

Yeah, classic cars are really nice to look. One day I'd like to have one.

Although I have registered a few weeks ago, I started to build more than 10 years ago!

I'm delighted that you like it.

Do you plan to do a front bumper as well? Seem it needs it. Wonderful job so far

Thank you! Yes, I plan to build front bumper but I still haven't found the correct shape.
