The discription of that hints says 'family trees in harry potter are so weird'. Grimmauld Place has a family tree.

Expand

It does, but then it also says 'Only sets included since 2018.' like the hint refers to minifigures that will add to minifigures we have got in the last two years and therefore give us more members of a family in minifigure form.

I just think vague hints are useless at this point. It’s fun, keep doing it, I don’t have a problem with it, it just doesn’t really add any hype anymore. I feel like it’s time for more direct hints or even full information. We’ve speculated as much as we can

I mean that’s one of those things like you get what you get and you don’t get upset. Like I get it people want every piece of info now but its a lot of patients at this point. If people have knowledge they can reveal what they want to without getting them in trouble. So I would be more thankful for the hints not like oh I want details

I understand how it works and I’m not demanding anything. All I’m saying is that the weird vague hints don’t really give much hype anymore. I’m thankful for what we’ve gotten and I never said I wasn’t. It’s still natural to want more information and that doesn’t make us selfish. Just like we have to try to understand how it is for leakers, they have to try to understand how it is for us not knowing anything. I’m not even asking for more information, I’m saying the hints don’t do anything for me anymore so I’m waiting for when more real information comes

I think it just refers to some of the family connections, e.g. that Bellatrix is Tonks’ aunt

That could be a fun family gathering to stage in Lego: have the potential Bellatrix, Tonks and Sirius minifigures together. You could even add in the Malfoys!

Most of the nearly one hundred pages of this thread are filled with pointless ramblings, if you want to be finicky. The arguing and wishlisting takes up a greater percentage. Talk about how the outside world could affect our escapism is surprisingly relevant.

What is the complete list of rumored figures that have been hinted at? Thanks in advance

Expand

RoR: Harry, Hermione, Luna

Grawp: Harry, Hermione, Umbridge, 2 Centaurs, Brickbuilt Grawp (a la Giant Man)

Hedwig: Harry

Privet Drive: Harry, Ron, Dobby, Vernon, Petunia, Dudley

Astronomy Tower: Harry, Ron, Hermione, Neville, Lavender, Draco, Luna (Dress), Slughorn

Burrow: Bellatrix, Greyback

CMF: On the bag

So on the instagram leaker said, "You need around 960€".

Forest 30€ + RoR 20€ + Hedwig 40€ + Privet Dr. 70€ + Astr. Tower 100€ + Magical Treasure 20€ + CMF 70€(?) = 350€

If you add the rumoured Diagon Alley (400€) and the Burrow (100€), it makes 850€ in total. I know that the prices can vary but 100€ is a big difference. Could it be that there are still sets that we do not know about?

Magical Treasure is Tom Riddle book, right? CMF is 64€ (not that it makes a difference).

Don't forget Advent Calendar for 30€. So that leaves us with around 80€ more. If he's right and we're getting another set... just wow. I kinda hope they divide it into like 30€ set and 50€ set (I really hope for Inferni Battle and Ministry of Magic Duel sets).

Yeah, that's the book. Lol, I totally forgot about the calendar. It would be great to get both of those. Our trusty leaker hasn't proven himself yet but now I'm hoping more and more that he is correct. Thankfully, I'm not going to buy all of the sets :D

Same, I've been getting mostly just the smaller sets of this theme anyway as I have most of the 2010 sets. This year I'll definitely get the Room of Requirement, the Grawp set and maybe the Privet Drive set, while I might have to start saving up for Diagon Alley :look:

Definitely! The biggest Lego set I've ever got is the 2015 Millennium Falcon so this is on a whole other scale. It's over 3 times the price of the 2011 Diagon Alley! But I know that if it comes with more shops than the last one, like Eeylops Owl Emporium or The Leaky Cauldron then I won't be able to resist.

I really hope that it includes new shops and the Leaky Cauldron as well as new great minifigures. Although at the same time I hope it'll be a disappointment because I can't justify/afford spending 400€ on lego :D

The biggest missed opportunity, for me, would be if it missed Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, considering it's the only major shop we haven't got in some form or another (I'm pretty sure there were small sets for Flourish and Blotts, and Quality Quidditch Supplies way back in the early 2000s).

I reckon it has to be included. It is a fan favourite and one of the most iconic buildings from the whole Wizarding World. I think the set should include Gringgott's, Ollivander's, WWW, The Leaky Cauldron (possibly only a part of it), Flourish and Bott's and QQS. They will probably chunk in Burgin&Burge's instead of F&B or/and QQS.

QQQ will probably be the one they miss, if they include Borgin and Burkes, because aside from seeing the Nimbus in Philosopher's Stone, the films never actually go inside it.

I imagine the big 3 will definitely be included in some form. WWW, Ollivanders and Gringotts. Maybe they might go down the 2011 route and have mini stalls and markets for the Brooms and Owls/pets.

I really hope the sets we know about atm are it for this year. The current total of setprices is already way too expensive imo, luckily things like the Tom Riddle book, Hedwig and Privet Drive are quite easy to skip.

I agree with others when it comes to Diagon Alley, I hope it's cool but it would be awesome if I don't like it because $400 for a single set would be hard to justify. I really hope they'll have more small and medium sets next year as opposed to 3 $100+ sets
