So, in summary 2020 is the year of the license and the confirmed death of the B model. Good luck finding a set with no official license and a B Model.

Ironic that this is also the first year where pullback sets had B models haha

Can re-open the 2021 set discussion topic?

I have some info

It's quite a bit too early:laugh: last year iirc it wasn't until mid-july when we got some stuff. I'm not against any good, just interesting to say the least.

It’s ok then

just saw the info but wanted to discuss here about how rigid it is

We shall wait a little but more concrete info then

Without saying what the info actually is, what’s the source?

What do mean be re-open? Is there a 2021 topic? And is it locked?

If you have any tangible information, we can start the 2021 discussion.

Ahhh I see. Basic rule....don't create a topic without information

It will turn into a wish list topic, which we already have.

The second half of 2020 is one of the best waves ever. All models are very innovative with stuff never seen before and not that boring as other years. All models (even Ducati) have gearboxes and driving-ring-parts. Models become more technical then other years.

Tipping dump bed and steering? Never seen that before! And a complete lack of B-models? That is new! Woooooooow!

B-models of 2H2019 are useless and boring and you misunderstand the idea behind the gearbox in the Volvo

I understand how it works just fine. Speeds and horsepower. Technic sets from 2000 worked on that principle.

And B-models of previous sets have rocked. Look at the PEGAX and the dumper from 42094! I don't even think 42097's B was that bad. Sure, it didn't rotate, but it was fun to unfold.

I personally prefer the 42112 mixer, don't know why, but it is a cute thing and 100% Alfredo-ish

I think it's more of an Aurelien job. The beam work and general style (especially the doors) remind me of the Arctic Truck and other sets by him.

It is Alfredo-colorish. We can make a bet. If you're right, you get one of my alternates (if you wish) for free

42112 - Pederson

42113 - Reindl

42114 - Kossmann

The message editor on EB is really fuckin' crappy.

Mods, delete message please.

It's okay, I understood. Wow, Lars T did 42112 and Markus was behind 42113? Fascinating. Interesting to hear that Alfred may no longer be on the payroll, as well.

So who did 42114? I just think Uwe whenever I take a close look at it.

So, now that all this mess with message editor is temporarly fixed, I was saying...

42112 is Lars Thygesen

42113 is Markus Kossman. He also worked closely on all models with new parts : 42112 cylinder, new parts in 42107 and 42115.

and 42114 is from Luke Cragin, with help from Mickael Jeppesen.

Aurelien did 42107, and probably helped on 42115 with 42083 experience.

Uwe did 42115 as we all know it.

And, Milan, well, he might be busy on another big project. =)

I am not sure Alfred is still working at TLG.
