TechnicRCRacer Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Hi all! I'm back with a new car: Lil' Speedster! This was all built because of the trans-clear angle connectors. I thought they would look good as headlights, and I quite like the appearance. It was also partly built just to hone my abilities into becoming a better builder. I believe that this looks at least better than my Supercar. It has a small inline two engine, front and rear suspension, and compact steering. I will probably not make a video of this car. More photos: I have tried out Blueprint for instructions, tell me what you think! Also in folder is the LDD file: https://bricksafe.com/pages/TechnicRCRacer/lil-speedster Thanks for reading! -TechnicRCRacer P.S. The LDD is slightly different that the car in the photos. Quote
schraubedrin Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 On the first look it reminded me of 8448. Really nice work, i dig those small, functional models Quote
Leonardo da Bricki Posted November 12, 2017 Posted November 12, 2017 Looks pretty good, but a bit blocky for the type of vehicle. Good functionality though. Quote
mocbuild101 Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 (edited) Looks great, but I think it looks a bit too wide... Also, what's with that one purple part? Good work with the instructions too, I much prefer PDF instructions - they're so much easier to use. Edited November 13, 2017 by mocbuild101 Quote

Not sure why I put it there, but it will stay The instructions took at least a month, but it was worth the effort! Quote
Jurss Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Not bad. Yes, boxy on the sides, but that boxy part doesn't conflict with panels etc. I would try to integrate HOG steering soemhow better. Also, did You tried red 2l axles in headlights. I suppose, that they would look pretty good. Quote
BrickbyBrickTechnic Posted November 13, 2017 Posted November 13, 2017 Very nicely done! I think it is a bit wide, but that doesn't really hinder the looks of this car. Quote
TechnicRCRacer Posted November 14, 2017 Author Posted November 14, 2017 Put it on Rebrickable!https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-10774/TechnicRCRacer/lil-speedster/#comments 21 hours ago, Jurss said: Not bad. What would be cool is some light gray ones, but I can't find any 16 hours ago, BrickbyBrickTechnic said: Very nicely done! Main idea was to integrate it more, so it doesn't pop out so much. Hadn't possibility to look in LDD, maybe I'll suggest something. Maybe this evenening I'll have time for that. Quote
Aventador2004 Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 Come to think of it, does the hot pop off easily? It needs bracing. Quote

Jurss Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 OK, some firendly suggestion, how i would do the HOG. Of course, it is Your moc, but, as LDD is available ... https://bricksafe.com/files/Jurss/visskas/speedster_fs.lxf Quote
