A 1/260 chance for a fig would be pretty crap. Unless it’s something like a chromed version of a character. Something few care about

How reliable is “jedijacpenguin”, on his page “everything we know” for 2018 it says that we will get Snape, Filch, Lupin, Pettigrew, Potter and Weasley in The Willow set, I’d love for this to be true (give me new Lupin!!!) however im not sure whether to believe it, so can someone reliable tell me how true he’s been in previous years/releases?

Amazon is very interesting like that and has announced things like that before. It is on their page that the sets for Harry Potter will be “presented” on June 1st and June 15th for Fantasic Beasts

His website is based on all the rumors and stuff we have heard. But yes he is very reliable and trust worthy

I would take it with a grain of salt. The information on his page is changing the entire time. Filch was only added after the figure was leaked.

That gives me hope, I know it’s probably against what most people think, but I’d love to get some year 3 figs in this wave, I’m happy to skip Sirius because it’d only be a tatty-Azkaban Sirius, I can wait for OOTP Sirius, but I want Lupin so much, I love the old one, but I’d love to get a new one, if he doesn’t come out this wave I might buy an older one from BrickLink

I have not seen the page before this year, but I like it since it have everything in one place.. That said I do not think it is the place to confirm rumours since it is based on rumours until the sets are released, it clearly say it on the site as well.. There have been rumours that we will get Lupin and Pettigrew in the WW set, so they are listed there, but they are most likely not true..
Heck, if you write a convincing false rumour on this page, it most likely will pop up there in a day or two! So use the site for what it is useful for, but not to confirm rumours

I thought that, but on his Insta he put “it has been confirmed already that that set has minifigs of Harry, Ron, Snape, Lupin and Pettigrew” regarding the Willow set talking about what set Filch could come in

so I don’t know whether he has genuine sources that have confirmed it, or whether he reads too much into rumours

I doubt it, even with that hairpiece it looks nothing like Pettigrew, the facial features are all wrong and so are the clothes

Makes sense as June 1 and June 15 are Friday which is a day alot of stuff gets released. 

I still believe that WW has the POA figures especially with the designer saying a flavor of 3. Who knows maybe Filch while be part of the set as well. I also don't believe Snape's Office will be part of the build as having The Whomping Willow, Ford Angelia, and Snape's office in one set seems a bit much. I hope the Willow gets a decent sized build, it would be nice looking display piece with the car stuck in its grasp.

Probably fake. Or maybe it's just a wild rumor or guess. There are some old and fake infos on his page, like:

"Set 3 : 75215 - Resistance Transport Ship - Includes 355 pcs, Minifigs: General Leia, Kaydel Ko Konnix, Nien Numb, C3-PO, Resistance Soldier - $30-40 / €29.99"

(Confirmed a few months ago to be fake)

I know jedijacpenguin and he is a reliable source. But if you look at his website it says some of the rumors might not end up being true he just tries to keep up with all the latest rumors and stuff. As for the Lupin and pettigrew stuff that’s not a wild guess it’s a legitimate rumor. It might end up being false but as of right now it’s a credible rumor. But keep in mind we still don’t know a lot of what’s coming in the Harry Potter sets so only time will tell

going slightly off topic, when they eventually release a new Sirius Black minifig do you reckon they’ll use the same hairpiece as Aragorn like they did in the Lego Harry Potter years 5-7 video game

In a set I'm sure they'd use that piece. If its a CMF i still think they'd sue that but there would be a chasne it would be a new perfect pieces.

Personally I think that hairpiece is perfect for OotP Sirius, but can anyone think of a hairpiece for PoA Sirius aka Scruffy Azkaban Sirius?

He never really had scruffy hair outside of the wanted posters.  Unlike Dastan hair Sirius has curlier hair with a side partition.

Now that I look at it I completely agree, I guess I was biased because I love the game, but yeah, I can’t actually think of any hairpieces that are suitable for either Sirius, and it was definitely scruffy in person in PoA
