Sorry to take away your hope, but I know a PAB employee have cheeked it and confirmed the price was right:sad: A wrong price was my initial hope as well, so BL or swapping it is:hmpf:

Did you also ask them how they sleep at night? lol

Us in Canada have to wait for the new parts anyways, but the fox just sounds like a bad joke. Isn't that close to the price of the orca? I can't imagine those will sell well at all - maybe we could see a price reduction in the future?

They have nothing to do with the price, that is probably a more sinister department higher up in the system:devil_laugh:

Can hope, but not so often PAB parts go on sale and even at half the price it's to expensive..

Yep, it’s just slightly less than the orca (body, the jaw costs an extra £4+)

6524887 , pigeon, doesn't even show "Out of stock"

For some reason parts out of stock just disappear now:shrug_confused:

Aquarium leaked, I only see 4 snails, the rest of the animals are brick built :shrug_oh_well:

Some amazing parts recoloured in there. Animals wise, the ‘coral’ piece looks to be in at least one new colour - or maybe two. One seems to be the new reddish-orange at least. 🪸

There‘s a black kitten hidden in the Batman logo set that was revealed yesterday! I doubt they recoloured it specifically for that set, so a printed version should show up in an upcoming set ^^

Paws crossed.

… meanwhile the dark tan kitten *still*  hasn’t showed up on B&P

Nicely spotted, did not see that one even if I quickly scanned the set for animals

Finally some exciting animal news for next year:steve:
HP sets will include collectible patronus figs!

So far a otter and a wolf is known, both are animals we have, the otter even originated as a patronus animal:shrug_oh_well:
However we might get at least one new animal mould from this. It they continue we might get more I must say a lot more interesting than the pearl gold figs they usually give us for anniversary figs:grin:

A deer doe is likely I would say:wink:

Latest new drop – for the 25th anniversary of Harry Potter LEGO, some sets next year will come with collectible patronus figures. This will obviously consist of several animals in unprinted trans blue with sparkles.

Current rumors say Lupin’s Wolf and Hermione’s Otter will be included.

We should also expect to see the return of Harry’s Stag, Luna’s Hare, and the Cat (originally for Umbridge in the Ministry of Magic set, but likely to be brought back for McGonagall here).

Other current animals to possibly get the patronus treatment like the Wolf:

- Terrier dog (definitely since it’s Ron’s)

- Horse (Ginny’s)

- Fox (Seamus Finnigan)

- Raven (as Magpies for the Weasley twins)

- Phoenix (Dumbledore, although if they wanted to do a flying version this would be an opportunity)

- Goat (Aberforth Dumbledore)

Patronus Animals that do not currently exist in Lego form (in other words potential new animal molds we could see):

- Doe (Snape and Lily, DEFINITELY happening)

- Boar (Ernie McMillan)

- Swan (Cho Chang)

- Lynx (Kingsley Shacklebolt)

- Weasel (Arthur Weasley)

Thank you for a great list of the potential animals coming:steve:
However there is no way a raven will fly as a magpie:tongue: So that will be a new mould if it comes:wink:

Long earred rabbit (could be the hare maybe?) and cat confirmed!

Friends will get a axolotl and seal on its side..

I didn’t want to get too optimistic, I’ll admit. Magpies have longer tails and smaller, straighter beaks, but they’re still corvids and the biggest differences between them and Ravens, the size and colors, wouldn’t be applicable in a format where colors are uniform and relative size has always been a bit loosey goosey. I’d love to be wrong though, and I think a little display stand with a pair of sparkly blue magpies (no reason to separate them) would be very attractive to collectors.

Cautiously optimistic about the possible new animals appearing as ‘patronuses’, as they have never been licence-locked in the past.

It did, though, take some time for the hare, otter & deer to make it into ‘real’ animal variants, so probably wouldn’t expect those any time soon… couple of years after, maybe? Have to also add that for the first recolour of the new wolf to be in trans glittery blue, ain’t all that useful to me 🤷🏽‍♂️

This sounds sort of as material for a HP Series 3 minifig collection. Except for the adult sizes of some of those patronus.

That‘s quite funny to think about, as the patroni will be the first anniversary bonus that isn‘t (near-) uniform in terms of size! One set will have a tiny otter while another will have a pretty sizeable stag. In the extended lore, the size differences are even  more ridiculous with one character having a mouse patronus and another a wooly mammoth! :snicker:

I think the mould has been retired, unfotunately. That‘s the only good explanation for Toto being a German Shephard puppy in the Wicked Wall Art set :shrug_oh_well:

Then they can bring it back like the goat or make a new mould for another breed, but pretty sure we will get Ron's. I do not remember what kind of breed it was in the movies 🤔

Of course they can always resurrect moulds, but in that case they likely would've already done so. The Wicked set and the set Ron's patronus will be in aren't that far apart after all (even if it's one of the June sets). I think they'll simply use another dog piece :shrug_oh_well:

Depends on if the set had the budget for a resurrection, I assume not. And designers do not necessary know what other designers are working on or if they can use a mould another set use the budget on.. They might use another dog, however with the HP budget and the gimic of a collectors item it seems strange to use subpar moulds :shrug_oh_well:

Ron would definitely deserve the new mold budget – he’s a main character no matter how often Lego likes to neglect him. It’s not surprising you don’t remember the movie version much, Ron’s patronus appeared for only a couple of seconds and not as prominently or clearly as Hermione’s, Luna’s, or Ginny’s, but it is a smooth coated terrier (probably a Jack Russel). So even the Westie mold that seems to have been phased out wouldn’t have been ideal.
