The Reviewer's Academy is a project on EB to help people learn to create a certain standard of review. However anyone can post a review of a set if they wish, membership of the academy is not compulsory or a barrier to posting reviews.

I tested your links with HTTPS:// but sems you picture hoster doesn't support encrypted connections - so I would also recommend to just create yourself a 100% free account on www.bricksafe.com - as you get 10 GB of free space + they offer https:// links to be used. So using bricksafe will lead to your pictures getting visible in the postings.

Meanwhile, when looking for information at my local hackerspace (where there are many computer & network security experts), I got the same explanations.

I'll try to fix it later...

... Fixed 20241114 : all my HTTP image links work again on the whole website, thanks to enabled HTTPS + redirection from HTTP.

Once you get to 10 posts, give it another go.

I can't remember exactly what is shut off for an account that is brand new, but it is likely a spam prevention feature.

Just copy the image url (ending with jpg) and paste it in your post.

I have a question.

I have a series of fourteen MOCs that tell the story of an historic event and am unsure about how/where to publish them. A single thread for all these MOCs would be enormous, potentially containing thousands of words and a huge number of images, but a single thread for each MOC feels like I would be spamming the site. What is the best way to approach this? Should I release them one at at time over a period of time, say weekly, or just drop them all together in one hit?

Also, I'm a little unclear where they should go. Is "Special Themes" really the catch-all place for everything that doesn't fit any other heading or, because they are based on historic events, should I head for "Historic Themes" (even though it's 20th Century history and not quite in keeping with the other content there)? Maybe, as the models are @1:32 scale, I should post in the "Town" forum...?

Any guidance would be most appreciated.

Tricky ... this will take some time, but there is an answer ...

Hmm - what I would do is opening a thread entitled "The history of Y ...", "Y - the event that ..." (did not want to use X for obvious reasons) - than telling a story and then fill the thread, maybe on a weekly basis with your MOCs. 

It depends on "Y" where to launch it. If any trains are involved, it TrainTech (we love everything remotely related to trains, such as ... flowers). If not, then well, it depends on "Y".

No idea whether this makes any sense, as I don't know what "Y" is.

@Hod Carrier I am just an admin, no mod - so I can not tell you what would be fitting - if you know in which theme forum you like to post, I would recommend to search for a Moderator of the theme subforum and send him / her a private message and ask. Otherwise you may long wait "for the right person to give you a fitting answer".
