Mine is the iconic black friction pin.  I am not sure if any of you die hard technic fans have ever seen one, so I will post a picture.

High five!

Coming back from my dark ages a couple of years ago this was the first piece I loved the most of all the new stuff and still do, it's such an awesome strong versatile part.

The past year this part has been coming in close second:

I love any axle with stop. It helps a lot when you need something to not come apart, or an axle to not walk out.

I would like it lego would make the 6l and 7l with stop

I agree. I also love the portal hub.

What are the advantages to using this piece vs. the other hubs?  I've only used it once for 42030.

I actually kind of hate this part.  While it does open up a lot of build possibilities, it can also be really difficult to install.  This is partially because of the stiff plastic used and partially because it rotates out of the way and has little to hold onto.

My favorite part is probably this.

... and these, for building holonomic wheels

... and these, for TrisStar wheels

... and these, for rubber tracks (a la Mahjqa)

... and this part, for one day bulding a helicopter rotor with both cyclic/collective controls

... and Lastly, these for one day building my own 'small' bucket-wheel excavator

Needless to say, I've been collecting these parts for some time.
