KotZ Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Emile Perreault told William to wait outside. The Corrie-turned-Oleonder agreed, putting on a mean mug to discourage anyone from disturbing his captain. "It doesn't even have a table," Elise protested. "The bed looks big enough for one." "Elise, it's only temporary, you know that," Emile returned. "Before you know it, we'll have the large house I promised you we'll get. You need to trust me." Elise pursed her lips. "Where are you to sleep?" This was going to be the hard part, Emile knew. "I'm not going to be here oft-" "Emile..." "I know, I know." Emile took a breath before continuing. "Being a privateer is the best way for me to make money right now. And I can't take you on The Athena. It's too dangerous right now. Once I get a bigger, stronger vessel you can come along. But not before. On the brightside, you have a better oven than back home. You'll always stay warm in a house as small as this. It's temporary. I promise." After a moment, Elise nodded in acceptance. Quote
Brandon Stark Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 Nice job on the house. The stones are really good, and so is the detail on the house. I also like the smoke coming from the chimney. You clearly build in LDD much better than me. Quote
KotZ Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Thank you! I'm not that good, I've just been building with LDD since it came out originally. Quote
Mesabi Posted March 5, 2017 Posted March 5, 2017 Good job on the build! I don't think LDD builds turn out as well, but this one is a fine exception! Quote
Captain Dee Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 Neat little house. The exterior looks inviting and while the interior might be tight it looks cozy with that big fireplace/oven. Looking forward to where the story takes them. Quote
Bregir Posted March 20, 2017 Posted March 20, 2017 Neat little hose and well-written story. Welcome to bobs! I like the massive fireplace and the smoke rising from the chimney! Quote

The next story build should be coming within the week. 49 minutes ago, Bregir said: Neat little hose and well-written story. Welcome to bobs! The fireplace was originally going to be smaller, but I couldn't design a window I liked, so I just made the oven huge to cover up no window being there. Quote
Bodi Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 Nice house, I like all those tiles on the floor and outside. The bed seems big enough to fit two persons, maybe we could accomodate monsieur Perreault for the night. Quote
