How are you going to embrace Episode III?

Its number 1 for me! My friend in the Navy reserved tickets for the first screening at midnight months ago, and took 2 weeks leave to return home to see it with the old gang. We're going to watch Episodes I & II, then the Clone Wars cartoons and have a BBQ before we head off to see Episode III.

Not gonna see it for a while... still kinda 'stung' from the letdown of watching Episode II on opening day... But I guarantee I will see it ;)

Yes, I hope many have experienced this sting and this will reduce the crowds. I need at least 3 seats in the cinema all to myself and if the place is packed then this doesn't happen.

However, I've read the screenplay so I've already got over the disappointing moments in the story so now I'll enjoy the movie much better.

The users there are usually pretty harsh when reviewing and rating movies. But Epsiode III is consistently scoring 9 and 10's. That is incredibly rare for that site...

I was not a big fan of ep 1&2 but I saw them several times on the big screens to really see why I was not a great fan :-D

it's number 3 for me as well. i'm not going to see it tomorrow night, but i'll probably go next week with a friend of mine...

it's highly unlikely that i'll go see it twice, or perhaps in a few months, when the film is in its last few weeks

i am thinking about a marathon of all 6 films tho, but i'll have to wait for that until the 3rd is on dvd...

Ah yes... This is the same boat as I'm in, only everyone has made a commitment to be at that first screening. For the first time in almost a year everyone is together again... But only because of Star Wars...

I'll see it thursday night at 22.45. I could have gotten tickets for an earlier show, but I hope that there wont be too many kids around at the later time. (BTW its out here at tuesday).

And I will see it at last a second time, even if its worse (what I don't think).

We had a report at the radio this morning saying that the audience at the premier at Cannes was really satisfied by the movie! So lets cross fingers for some cool time at the theater!!!! *satis*

The majority of reviews at IMDB were exceptionally good and that's unusal for that website. However, maybe the reviewers are bias as it would more likely to be the Star Wars fans that have seen the movie at this early stage. In a week's time the average rating might drop after the not so entralled Star Wars fans have a chance to see it.

ep3 got just 3,5 stars from Roger Ebert, a well known film critic. i've heard of more critical reviews here, but i guess most of those are from filmcritics and they're always against commercial films for some reason. Most even torpedoed ep1 and 2. However, according to these people ep3 still is a lot better than 1 and 2.

Me and my mates watched the first 2 films and the clone wars this last weekend! We are going to see the film on Thurday at 16:40pm. It should be great fun.. I can't wait :D!
