Hello. This is my first MOC I've uploaded, but I've made many. :)

So this is my RC, 6wd, LEGO Mindstorms NXT Log Skidder. For It I have one motor for driving the 6 wheels, another for steering, the last motor for lifting up the logs, and then a manually operated claw.

EDIT 1, 16/5/01: I only have about 5-6 hundred LEGO Technic pieces so forgive me for any styling, look issues. :)

Here are some pics (Click here for the full resolution images).

A pic highlighting the re-designed log pulling arm (it can swivel around 360 now)

A close the actual grabbing part of the log pulling arm.

a closeup on the re-designed cabin.

A picture highlighting the gullwing doors on the cabin.

A picture highlighting the fact that the cabing tips up, and showing some of the (fake) machinery in the log skidder underneath the cabin.

Another picture highlighting the titlting cabin, and showing some of the (fake) machinery in the log skidder underneath the cabin.

Nice integration of all the mindstorms components, I highly recommend you Bricksafe.com for uploading pics,it allows fast upload and you can put some description in there too. Also you can choose a perfect size for a forum and then post them here

Very nice MOC!

Thanks so much! I am not finished it (got to make the cab a bit smaller, and add details with the small part of my collection of bricks, and plates).

P.S. I'll try out Bricksafe, I've only got 50 kbps Upload and I'm uploading photos that are 4.5-5 Megabytes each each so It takes a bit.

I've finished the log skidder, and have put fresh images in the original post.

P. S. Jim, could you please take "[WIP]" out of the title, and put in "[MOC]" instead please?
