Victor Imaginator Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Wow... it's so shiny and colorful))) Quote
syclone Posted December 13, 2015 Posted December 13, 2015 Amazing! The best kinetic sculpture I've seen up to date! Like the snakes of same coloured saucers going on the circle, it's meshmerizing! Already collecting the small dishes Quote
Iria Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Very nice and very hypnotizing creation. While the colourful shadows moving across the floor are quite beautiful, the view of the MOC itself with all the moving components is amazing. That is a very clever illusion with the location of the dishes. Quote
RMBP Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 Nice. Reminds me of the works of Anthony Howe: Quote
aeh5040 Posted December 14, 2015 Author Posted December 14, 2015 Nice. Reminds me of the works of Anthony Howe: Indeed - I was partly inspired by these! Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 14, 2015 Posted December 14, 2015 So, this is where the U joint demonstration came from Its really mesmorizing, feels like a kid watching colored baloons taking off... Quote
aeh5040 Posted December 14, 2015 Author Posted December 14, 2015 So, this is where the U joint demonstration came from Yes, in fact, I have been "milking" this same basic construction for all it is worth for many years... (I think I need some fresh ideas...) Quote
oracid Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 I know your worm, it is so great ! But its orientation is not very common. Maybe a new projet ? Quote
SevenStuds Posted December 15, 2015 Posted December 15, 2015 The one with the 2x2 dishes looks really great, especially when you focus on one colour. You should try it under UV light. The black frame would be invisible and just the dishes would revolve and twist in space. Quote
