karrit Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Glad they will finally be letting us order again. Too bad they will likely suspend ordering for the end of the year shortly after thus leaving orders in limbo for several months just like every other year. Probably will get hung up in customs too once they arrive in this country. Quote
Lion King Posted November 14 Posted November 14 Wait, standard pieces will be back in North America? Perfect. Quote
Clone OPatra Posted November 16 Posted November 16 I don't know if we're sharing hauls any more (I miss those days), but here's my latest on my IG: https://www.instagram.com/cloneopatra/p/DQocp-QkpRW/ Quote

And there are quite some pieces I haven´t even seen yet (the transparent Samurai Swords, the white red and titanium(?) pieces above the earth blue spacemen helmets (hairpieces I guess?) and then above the hair pieces which looks like scarfs that could originate from Ninjago or Dreamzz. etc) Quote

I personally like to post my hauls as a way to go back and remember what I've bought to make sure I don't double up All those pieces you're describing come from the Ninjago Dragonian Warriors, like this one: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?M=njo0931#T=S&O={"iconly":0} The dragon helmets were then subsequently released in white and titanium, and the neckpiece and mini dragon parts in dark blue (although not the 1x1 clips, which don't exist in dark blue). I'm doing a series of posts with some figures using parts from this order, and started with one using the white dragon helmets and dark blue wings, if you look at my grid. The trans opalescent katanas are also from the Ninjago wave with the Dragonians. Quote

RichardGoring Posted November 17 Posted November 17 OMG! The standard parts list is how available in the US and the Arctic fox is 'only' $5.93! Pigeons are $1.19. I think some new parts are missing though. No dark blue classic space helmet or air tanks, for example. Quote

The fox has been lowered in Australia too, so probably everywhere. It had been almost $20 AUD but is now just under $10. What a steal... Quote
Retrocity Posted November 17 Posted November 17 (edited) FYI, it looks like they further dropped prices on a bunch of retiring parts (at least in the U.S.). I had a cart of best sellers (mostly retiring parts) that I had been building and held off once I saw the news about standard parts. I thought a bunch of parts had gone out of stock when I saw my cart total was significantly cheaper. Ended up adding more parts that got the total back to close to where it was originally lol. Cows for $3.48, horse barding for $3, gorilla body and both arms for $4.49 total, a lot of torsos for around $0.60, ect… Edited November 17 by Retrocity Quote

Ended up spending more than I should have on cows, lambs, gorillas, tigers, red pandas, bardings, pigeons, and a few other odds and ends, but I suppose getting them now is better than what the aftermarket will be on them - so, thanks for the FYI! I guess you are not the only one especially since some parts sold out quickly, like some minifig- parts from the Medieval Town square or the tan horse (at least in this region). And yeah, I´ve spend way to much too, but in the end I was hoping for some parts to get cheaper, so I still saved a lot compared to what I would have spend else - and probably over several, smaller orders, buying more in total. But since there was no GWP I was really that interested in this year, I didn´t made those orders, but on the other side missed some parts that were already gone now. Quote
Shiva Posted November 18 Posted November 18 I bought 2x fox when it was full price + other stuff. Took a month or so, before it was sent. Arrived last week. wheee....... Quote
RichardGoring Posted November 19 Posted November 19 Dark blue classic space helmets and air tanks are on PAB in the US. Typical, after I placed an order yesterday. I'm going to do another order on Insiders weekend, so I hope they remain in stock. Quote

I'll probably wait until the next big wave hits in January - hopefully we do get the Gumball Machine minifig parts then. Quote
RichardGoring Posted November 19 Posted November 19 I placed an order for bestseller and standard pieces on Monday evening in the US. Looked at my order today and the standard order is marked as shipped (bestseller still in warehouse). I'll believe it when I see it, but that would be a pretty impressive turnaround. Of course, shipping may take a long time if it's still coming from Europe. Quote

Retrocity Posted November 20 Posted November 20 The bestsellers I ordered on Monday shipped Tuesday surprisingly. Fastest turnaround ever for an order. Quote
jonwil Posted November 20 Posted November 20 Lucky people getting their orders so fast. I placed an order for shipment to Australia on the 28th of October and it hasn't even shipped yet. Quote
JohnTPT17 Posted November 26 Posted November 26 Got the first half of my Bestsellers order in today - all there, but I also somehow ended up with 12 extra cows! Doesn't quite make up for having my Lion Knights' Castle cancelled on me, but it's at least a nice Christmas surprise for me! Quote

Nice extra Lego is always a good thing especially animals, plants or minifig parts. Quote

That was one of the better bonus parts I have heard of However too bad about the castle, if this was something you just ordered because it was on sale its one thing, but if this was your only one you planned to build a lot worse Quote
RichardGoring Posted November 26 Posted November 26 I have placed three Pick a Brick Standard orders in the last week and a half and ALL THREE shipped within two days. Also, for those in the US, all three have now appeared in the USPS Informed Delivery listings again, after an absence for quite a while. All three orders have now left the DHL facility in New Jersey, which i assume means they've gone through customs and will arrive with me in a few days. Very impressive! Quote
