Is there a color that a part has been made in that you absolutely despise.

I personally hate that all future sets that use this part http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=6587&idColor=69#T=C&C=69 will always be in that dark tan color.

I also hate the fact that this part http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=10288&idColor=11#T=C&C=11 was first made in dark brown and only Toxikita's Toxic Meltdown has had it in black.

I also don't like that this part http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/catalogitem.page?P=15462&idColor=69#T=C&C=69 is in dark tan but I understand why as to not confuse it with the shorter grey version.

Then there is always the red axles and blue pins debate. I personally don't mind blue pins. But I would like it if the the black axles made a comeback and replaced the red axles.

That's funny, I thought I was the only one who replaced red axles with black ones.

I don't like fleshy heads, hands, necklines or any other minifig body part. They're abhorrent.

Now that you mention it, the tan/dark tan axles are a bit annoying. I'm building monochrome Bionicle figures and here's a tan piece, here's a blue pin, here's a bit of red peeking through something or other...it would be nice to have everything in nice, old dark gray.

I'm annoyed by the blues. Blue, light blue, metal blue, medium azure, Maersk blue, sky blue, blue-violet, aqua, medium blue, no Lego what are you doing stop

I have to agree a bit about the blues--I love the different blue colors, but there are so many of them that are incredibly similar. If something like sand red were to come back, I'd be able to overlook the blues more easily, but the overabundance of near-identical shades is a little off-putting.

I feel this way about their fifty (okay... four) shades of silver.

I don't like anything pearled.

Some of the pearled colors are quite nice, like Pearl Dark Grey. I get some Pearl Dark Gray colored parts in some Hero Factory sets and the color is very useful when making mechanical detailings and a metal statue. I think none of the colors are bad. Sure there still has some colors that difficult to use in MOCcing, but the colors variety in Lego parts is one of the reasons I started interested in Lego.

Every colors palette in Lego have they function, so none of the colors are consider bad to me.

I'm not a fan of Magenta and Lavender. They are overabundant.

I don't particularly like the fact that all of the technic pins are color coded either.

Now that Pearl Dark Grey and Pearl Light Grey / Silver helmets and weapons are available, I don't really like having them in plain flat greys. I do still love the Black versions, though.

Overall though, I'm glad they have so many colors available. I just wish you could find any piece in the color you want. And maybe a darker Purple would be nice, too. Dark Purple to me is just Purple.

It would be nice to see more Chrome Gold and Chrome Silver pieces. I like them, but they don't do them enough and the Pearl Gold looks weird next to the Chrome.

There are black 2L axles - with the "nail-grabber-indent" - in the cherry picker set. I'm certain I have 100s of 2L black axles somewhere on my parents' attic with bitemarks that resemble the nail-grabber-indent, but I digress. Anyway, I just wanted to say those axles in black are still in production.

Old gray.

See, I find the Old Greys useful, adding variation to the Bluish Greys. I have quite a bit of it, and at least when it comes to Castle building, it looks great mixed together.

I originally didn't like the new grey colors, but they've grown on me.

I hate all transparent colorored pieces used for windows, especially windscreens on cars, I change them all out fot trans clear. Not a fan of flesh minifigs, but that's a separate matter.

See, I'm not a big castle builder. Even when I do want something to look a bit ramshackle, I prefer to add more concrete variety in moderation (such as colors like tan, dark tan, or even sand green mixed in with new greys), rather than the subtly different old and new grays, which I feel look unpleasantly dingy when used together. I was a big fan of the new greys when it came out, just because their slightly richer hues seemed to go better with other colors and weren't subject to nearly as much color variation (though that might partially be a consequence of how much secondhand Lego was in my collection, including old grays that were faded or discolored by smoke).

That's not to say I haven't seen the old grays used effectively in other people's MOCs. But the color itself just isn't to my taste and doesn't favor the kinds of subjects I like to build.

I also appreciate the variety of colors available for Lego. When I was a kid the colors were much more limited and as an AFOL, I find that the array of colors make Lego even more creative. I would agree with other statements that it would be nice if Lego made more of the common bricks in all the colors.

Fair enough. I completely understand your reasoning. I now find the new greys to be richer in hue as well.

Nice to see you have the rare marbled bricks there!

What is that blue and green brick on the bottom right?

I once made a color chartlike this but only had the basic colors, I once stole a tan 2X4 thinking It was something specical but later realized it was a common color.

As for disliking colors, I dont really have any especically that more technic parts are available in black now such This.

My favourite colors are actually the transparent onces because they look so cool

Lego without the context of a model looks good in any color
