metulskie8 Posted September 5, 2015 Posted September 5, 2015 Hello mahjqa ... Thanks for the nice crazy idea with this boat. Me and my four year old daughter had a lot of fun with it. I build the Technic and in the control of Elveship's. She was there with everything decorated .... Quote
efferman Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 Hi Mahjqa, seems to be the perfect hull for my voight schneider propellors. do you know how much weight the hull can handle? Quote
MaxSupercars Posted September 6, 2015 Posted September 6, 2015 The hull is not good... If you put more weight at the back, the back goes quickly down... Max... Quote
piterx Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 that hull is awesome....if it sinks it means you're adding too much weight... build light :D ! Quote
MaxSupercars Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Sariel got bad results with this hull... Max... Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Fantastic project ...I love how it goes fast! Quote
metulskie8 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 test yourself and see what happens ... my daughter has built a lot of weight to decoration ... The ship is very well and quickly swam ... Sariel may not always be right ....  Quote
mahjqa Posted September 12, 2015 Author Posted September 12, 2015 (edited) Hello mahjqa ... Thanks for the nice crazy idea with this boat. Me and my four year old daughter had a lot of fun with it. I build the Technic and in the control of Elveship's. She was there with everything decorated .... That is just so lovely! I missed it the first time around, but this is just excellent. I'm grinning ear to ear here. Please tell your daughter that she did a wonderful job decorating. This has completely made my week. Hi Mahjqa, seems to be the perfect hull for my voight schneider propellors. do you know how much weight the hull can handle? I did some testing. If you mean "how much weight can it hold and theoretically not sink in perfectly still water", then your answer is 800 grams. If you mean "I want a stable craft that can move without tipping over" keep it at 400 grams. Sariel got bad results with this hull... It all depends on how you use it. As long as you're mindful of the weight and the distribution of that weight (as with any boat hull) you'll be fine. Edited September 12, 2015 by mahjqa Quote
efferman Posted September 12, 2015 Posted September 12, 2015 thanks! two hulls in combination with my red hulls should be enough for me. Quote
