Whilst the war rages in the North, in the western lowlands, in the middle of nowhere, the Crossroads Inn is always open for weary travelers. The Innkeeper, his wife and wife's sisters will receive all who come for rest, food and if they bring enough gold or gems, top notch weapons. The Innkeeper, a master smith, has his shoppe behind the Inn, whilst the open air armory, eatig tables and coziness of the hostesses invite everyone who can afford a good nights rest, a hearty meal, a razor sharp souvenir and a merry good time. Since I run on a very tight budget, I paint my bricks gray (airspray). Hope you like it.

The concept of an innkeeper/blacksmith is certainly unique and the details of the forge are nice. However, I would like to respectfully suggest that the entire scene is better suited as a blacksmith's forge only. The inn is small and doesn't have much detail, but if you look at the image titled "the mastersmith and his shoppe" it all looks like a reasonably sized forging operation. Regarding the painted bricks, I don't have a problem with it, especially if your collection is small (I've never done it) but purists won't like it. Again, the forge is nice and without any text or title I'd assume that's all it was. Keep on building!

Everything doesn't have to be huge or overflowing with details and it's good that you mentioned your budget; many people will view this topic, yawn and move on but we all need reminding that building with a limited collection is far more challenging than building from an enormous volume and variety of parts. You have a very good start and I really like your positive attitude. Keep that and you'll do well regardless of how many replies you get. My biggest concern isn't the inclusion of the inn but the fact that it doesn't really look like one. See what you can come up with and keep us posted!

Working on it. I expanded the building, gave the smith a larger working area, and built a small well too. Still not an Inn (which I believe it won't) but maybe a small watering hole/eatery/shoppe for those traversing the crossroads will upload pics asap.

After working out a bit with whatever blocks I had spare, the Inn is no longer an Inn, but the Crossroads Forge and Watering Hole. Top notch weapons, warm food, and pleasant staff.
