Pego Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 -4x4 -Live axles with panhard rods -M motor for steering -L motor for drive (geared 1/5) I wanted to build a truck, that would be as light as possible, but a full pickup body would have weighed it down (I have tried it). So I built half of a pickup without doors, which works very well. I originally wanted to use the smaller tires, but now in winter it performs much better in the snow with the balloon tires. What do you think that looks better? Inspiration: Quote
Zerobricks Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Looks quite good. I like the steering solution you used, but is there any slack? Quote
Pego Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Looks quite good. I like the steering solution you used, but is there any slack? Thanks! Yes, there is a bit, but it is still perfectly drive-able Quote
LeocornoProductions Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Great, and the simplicity makes it even better Quote
rm8 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Very nice model! Love simplicity and lightness Quote
Pego Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 It looks great. Can you post a video? Soon Quote
Sylvian Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 I really like it,.. a seat would be cool though. Other than that i think its pretty much perfect. Quote
Rockbrick Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Love anything with live axles.... Simply great, looks better on the thinner tyres Quote
Pego Posted March 5, 2015 Author Posted March 5, 2015 So, here's the video of it: Sadly, I had to use the IR system to be able to film it. Quote
Pego Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 The snow has melted here now and I made a simple stand for my phone and took a better video than the last one (I think). I also shortened the body by one stud in the front, to make it look better Quote
Pego Posted March 8, 2015 Author Posted March 8, 2015 The snow has finally melted here now, so I made a simple stand for my phone and took a better video (I think) than the last one. I also shortened the body by a stud in the front to improve the looks of it. do yo have instruction? I have an LDD file, but can I put the file straight into here? Quote
Pego Posted March 18, 2015 Author Posted March 18, 2015 Here is the LDD file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3uQRNR6UbBWdjlDS29LMDByd28/view?usp=sharing Quote
