patje Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 waaw very nice came out of a picture of the 30s the good old days where everything still consisted of wood and metal .... Quote
Zerobricks Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 What an awesome vagon! Great use of wheel fenders for details. Quote
ManInATopHat Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 (edited) Cool old classic carriage. Love the dark red as a colour choice. Lovely gold elements highlight the regality of the train as a whole. Nice job! Edited December 3, 2014 by ManInATopHat Quote
detjensrobert Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Now all you need is an old steam locomotive (e.g. this) to pull it! Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Wow that picture looks taken from an old fashion era! I love the main acces door and the rendering of the whole MOC! Amazing work Sérgio! Quote
zephyr1934 Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 That car is insane... in a good way... but still insane. Quote
nils Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 In one word fantastic!!!!! Maybe I'm going to borrow this concept in the future (if you don't mind) Quote
Commander Wolf Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 It really does look like a church on wheels... I like the wheel-well arches over the window arches. What exactly is going on with the handles at the doors; is it fixed to the base or just really wide? Quote
dr_spock Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 Cool. Maybe call it the King's Diner. The way you have it with the stairs and handrails and fencing, it could be a diner set in the CITY for fine dining. A meeting place for the local train LUG? Quote
cgarison Posted December 4, 2014 Posted December 4, 2014 This is a wonderful MOC. I will need to find a way to include a passenger carriage with this style on my Ghost Train. I love the arches and the windows. Keep up the great work. Quote
Acchan Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 That's a great job Sérgio! The carriage definitely has that old 30s feel to it with the really elaborate details and styling. I especially like the arch/column details over the windows, really gives it that luxury feel. Quote
Sérgio Posted December 5, 2014 Author Posted December 5, 2014 (edited) Thank you all! ther is another Luxury Car inspired on Victorian Queens/Kings Firstclass trains Lego - Luxury Carriage by SergioBatista, on Flickr and this is my solution to triple Axes triple axes by SergioBatista, on Flickr Edited December 5, 2014 by Sérgio Quote
codefox421 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Really liking your newest carriage in sand green. and this is my solution to triple Axes triple axes by SergioBatista, on Flickr This is a great little gem! I see the middle wheel helps guide the outer wheels through curves as well. I would love to know how well this works in the brick. Have you tried it before? Quote
dr_spock Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 The new carriage is very nice in sand green and pearl gold. Interesting use of flex axles. How well does it work? Quote
Godzilla91210 Posted December 6, 2014 Posted December 6, 2014 Awesome, This is the most luxurious car that I saw!!!! Quote
Feuer Zug Posted December 7, 2014 Posted December 7, 2014 The first car is awesome, and the second car kind of reminds me of the old Mitropa Wagon Lits carriages. Quote
zephyr1934 Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I think you are on to a really interesting train with these two cars. Quote
Man with a hat Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Wow, those are beauties! What an amazing details. And a very clever technique as well! Quote
