Doc_Brown Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) Hey everyone! I have been looking for a project to do that is a bit different whilst offering some cool challenges, and I think I found it! Introducing the Titus from the movie Into the Storm. This is obviously a fantasy vehicle made for the movie, but its just too cool, tho I do think the looks of the front end could have been better. Its specs are listed below. I'm looking forward to working out how to do all this too, but not sure how it will be covered as I don't want to do studded plating. perhaps black panels might work, im not sure. This certainly will be a long term project. I'm thinking 42000 wheels atm. Any thoughts or comments are welcome, especially regarding the looks, but don't show me how to do the outriggers, cos I want to work that out myself! haha Check out the movie if you haven't seen it, its really good! Zerobricks Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I also watched the movie AND ALSO have this model in plan... I wish you best of luck, you will need some hard springs and tough suspension. Quote
timslegos Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Wow that is one heavy duty truck, cant wait to see how you pull it off! tim Quote
legolijntje Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 Why don't you create the TIV-3 from the Discovery serie Stormchasers? I'm a big fan of that "car", because, well, it's just amazing It's almost exactly the same as the one from the movie Into The Storm. But, the TIV is a real machine. I've tried to make it a while (about 2 years ago), but I just never really finished it (like I always do...). Maybe a bit off topic, but that movie is as unoriginial as it can get: it's 50% the Stormchasers series from Discovery Channel and 50% a documentary about a huge Storm a few years ago from National Geographic (forgot the name of the documentary). Really! It's a fun film though. Quote
piterx Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 lol kinda odd vehicle :D i think that plates will make it look cool...you should reconsider the idea :P Quote

After all there is only one real story, "Who am I" Everything else is a based on that. Edge of tomorrow was different a bit I guess, like Groundhogs day meets Alien. lol kinda odd vehicle :D i think that plates will make it look cool...you should reconsider the idea :P I will reconsider actually, as I have a lot of DBG from the Patria doing nothing. UPDATE: Been playing with the outriggers and come up with something that looks really good and functions but wont be very strong. I don't have the parts to complete even one so I will make it LDD to show you guys. Quote
