Ciapasty Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) Hello everyone! I'm new here, and i'd like to share with you my past MOCs. Sorry for the bad picture quality. They where taken with my mobile phone, only for Instagram. As of now I'll take picture with my DSLR . So, here we go chronically: First up is a Willys MB. It's 4WD, as I recall correctly, with 2 cilinder engine under the hood. Hood is openable (not shown on pictures ). No steering though. Couldn't fit it in there.. Maybe I'll build it one more time. http://i.imgur.com/SpHYuJE.jpg http://i.imgur.com/l3EOAUs.jpg Second one is a Toyota forklift (build with my brother). It had one PF L motor with 3 functions: raising the fork, tilting whole arm and front wheel drive. Steering was manual. http://i.imgur.com/QWszmab.jpg http://i.imgur.com/K9H2SaV.jpg Third one is a short bus (also built with my brother). It had a really cool system for opening doors, mimicing the one from real busses (no video though ). http://i.imgur.com/MWzUw9d.jpg http://i.imgur.com/rcYbZ8b.jpg http://i.imgur.com/wpo5oqd.jpg http://i.imgur.com/pH9ohj2.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Z02NqAI.jpg Next one is a Scania based dump truck in scale to 42030 Volvo L350F Loader. It featured pendular suspension on every axle. The middle axle did not have suspension springs . Sadly the whole truck was wobbly as hell, especially with the dumping bed raised. The bed was raised with PF L motor and one big acutator. Funny part is that it looked like it had a rear wheel drive, but the drive shaft just ended under the cabin (there was no space for engine). The cabin was also openable, just like in real trucks. http://i.imgur.com/SWKJmgb.jpg Las one worth mentioning is a Baja truck. Fully motorized with PF Servo and PF XL motors. It features front independent suspension and this thingy something suspension on the back (see pictures below). The bodywork was easily detachable. It was a seperate constuction. http://i.imgur.com/fOedoUB.jpg http://i.imgur.com/Tkh24lk.jpg Of course all the models are already disassembled . Now I'm working on a bigger scale Land Rover Defender 90. I'll post a link to the topic, when I'll create it. [EDIT] Here it is http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=101819 Any comments are welcome. Hope you had fun scrolling through this . Ciapasty Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 Thanks for the kind words. I still have much to improve, and many bricks to collect . Hope I'll have time to finish my next creation as soon as possible. Quote
Slegengr Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Nice MOCs, Ciapasty! I do not build much Technic myself, but I still appreciate the nice looks and mechanized details of good MOCs, and yours are no exception. They are great, especially the incorporation of realistic mechanics. Brick on, Ciapasty! Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Welcome to Eurobricks, the truck and the forklift are my favorite. Quote
deraven Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Nice. For some reason, I think the gas can on the Jeep is my favorite part! Quote
Kelkschiz Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) Some nice MOCs you got there. Welcome to EB! I especially like your jeep. Edited October 27, 2014 by Kelkschiz Quote
Blakbird Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I like your models but I'm afraid your photos are WAY over the Eurobricks size limit of ~1000 pixels. For the moment I've replaced them with links, but feel free to post reduced versions of the photos of your excellent models. Quote
