Friends "Controversy" Rationally Researched
In what one might call an act of epic awesomeness, EB member and Thinking Brickly blogger, fallentomato has compiled an excellent article, fully researched, well organized and with a solid argument for one side of the recent Friends "controversy".

Instead of doing what so many have done and just blindly jumping into the ring and flailing their proverbial internet fists, fallentomato has actually fully researched the subject and presented his findings and constructed his opinion thoroughly and expertly.

Are LEGO Trains Classed as "Real" Model Trains?
LEGO Train fan Paul B asks the most interesting question in EB's Train Tech forum. Read what EB members are saying in this thought-provoking LEGO Train discussion and share your thoughts on the subject.
LDD 4.2.5 is out
New version of LDD out today
Massive amount of new bricks added
LDD version 4.2.5 was released today, January 18th. As expected, the main difference to the previous version (4.1.8) is the removal of DbM and LEGO Universe modes. They have been replaced by LDD and Extended Mode. This means that there is no longer any need to manually activate Extended Mode - it's there out of the box.
The lack of new features is more then counterweighed by the massive brick update: 183 new bricks and 70 brick bug fixes.

When a MOC gets out of control
It doesn't happen every day when a MOC gets a lot of attention outside the typical LEGO communities and 'makes it' in the real world. However, this is what happened with Yatkuu's MOC "The Winchester - Shaun of the Dead" which was highlighted on dozens of non-LEGO sites and still continues to draw more attention.
Check this topic on our forums for reading the amazing journey this MOC, or even better vote on LEGO CUUSOO if you like to see it in your own home one day.
