Thanks for the news! A regular, unlicensed CMF series in 2026 sounds great! Hopefully we'll get a new food costume and a musician with a new moulded musical instrument.

Lego City 2026, Leaks, Rumours and Discussion
Klaus-Dieter replied to Izzynufc-2's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks for the news! I agree what concerns the dump truck. Personally, I hope that the hospital will be the 6+ set and the 8+ will be some sort of Main street or town square since some shops for the inner city are absolutely overdue. The 5+ set will supposably be something smaller with less bricks - maybe another skatepark or finally an open-air public swimming pool? Yes, cargo and passenger train sound logical. Only theoretically one of these Trains sets could be a trackside structure, too. -
I can't agree more. Even the last WV train from 2016 IS much better. I better spend the money on something good (non-Lego).

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Klaus-Dieter replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks for the news! 🙂 I'm totally disappointed by this new Winter Express Train - it has so many design mistakes and does look really, really cheap. Last year's Santa's Post Office already had been bad. But with this new Winter Express Train, Lego drives our beloved Winter Village finally against the wall! 👎 I really, really hope that next year's WV set will be something completely new and designed very well (like the older WV sets), otherwise Lego WV ist dead for me. 😥 -
Chinese New Year Sets - Rumors and Discussion
Klaus-Dieter replied to Klaus-Dieter's topic in Special LEGO Themes
It's strange - Brickmerge lists four CNY sets for next year: 80118 Chinese New Year – 80 Euros (December 2025) 80119 Chinese New Year – 100 Euros (December 2025) 80120 Chinese New Year – ? Euros (May 2026) 80121 Chinese New Year – ? Euros (May 2026) I didn't buy any CNY set this year since there had only been display sets. So I hope that 2026 will see minimum one big nice building to add to your (Chinese) town. What are your thoughts? -
This year marks a bad turn concering new unlicensed animal molds: We did get four small (cockatoo, special cat, pigeon, fox), only one medium sized (wolf) and no single big new unlicensed animal mold. (In contrast, 2021 saw five new animal molds only in the City theme!!!!) The next CMF series being all only animal costumes, but no single animal, takes already away the chance to get some new unlicensed animals from CMF series in 2026. And I fear that the rest of the year won't loook better. This is really a pity since Lego has done so many great new unlicensed animal molds in the past years that I was looking forward to this trend continuing ...

Lego City 2026, Leaks, Rumours and Discussion
Klaus-Dieter replied to Izzynufc-2's topic in LEGO Town
Yes, I could well imagine these. Plus I really hope for some civilian buildings (esp. shops) for the summer wave. With Lego releasing only two new and very small animals molds for City 2025, I'm very pessimistic which concerns new and esp. big animals for 2026. That we'll get some sort of new animal based theme like Outback, Forest or again Savannah is imo regrettably excluded. -
Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Klaus-Dieter replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
Thanks for the news! These are exactly my thoughts, too. I understand that WV fans who don't own the older sets, should get the chance to buy some similar sets for a reliable price these days (plus Lego catches with this new WV fans). But nevertheless those who had been collecting some WV sets since the beginning should imo get the chance to buy some really new stuff these days in order to let the WV grow smartly. So why not making a sequence of two years? One year is a re-design of an older WV set (e. g. train this year) and the second year is a completely new set (e. g. candy shop)? This would do justice to old as well as new WV fans. What are your thoughts? Yes, I think that the engine will be bigger this time, too. I bet it will be mostly black (because of the in two parts devided windscreen appearing in black in some summer set). And in contrast to last time, I guess we will see no cargo and passenger waggon, but "only" two passenger waggons. I imagine a train similar to 7715 Push-Along Passenger Steam Train, but with Christmas decoration. But I hope that there'll be a very small station included. Why? Because this is the second year in a row that we get a re-designed WV set. Next year we do really need something completely new!!!! -

Thanks for the news! Police Train, Lego Van, Taxi and Fries Food Truck sound very promising! I hope that the Airport will be Winter themed, so it would go nicely with the Emergency Airplane of this year and some Winter Village sets. And hopefully the Cement Mixer as well as the Airport Fire Truck will both have telescopic arms with cannons (for cement / water) on it - otherwise these vehicles would be too similar to older ones and therefore not interesting for me. Since the Airport Fire Truck is that huge (from price and size), could there also be a small burning plane included? Btw: According to Brickmerge, the Police Train and the F1 set are for sale firstly in March. -
The "Main Station" is garbage. But (apart from some minor things) I really like the Arctic Express Train. After this very special train, I do really hope for a firefighters' train to be the next (specialized) train very soon. And after this a train track repair train and then a police train.

Lego City 2026, Leaks, Rumours and Discussion
Klaus-Dieter replied to Izzynufc-2's topic in LEGO Town
Yes, a Lego Store would make sense to go with the already known The Lego Van. Yes, a hospital could be part of the summer line, too - as well as a new cargo train (according to Brickmerge, the passenger train will remain til end of 2026, so there is no new one to await next year). -
I see it completely different: The fact that there'll be a PotC exclusive ship and a whole new theme about comic pirates, shortens extremely the chance for getting an unlicensed Pirates set this and next year. And this although a redesign of the Caribbean Clipper is since long overdue.

Lego City 2026, Leaks, Rumours and Discussion
Klaus-Dieter replied to Izzynufc-2's topic in LEGO Town
For sure not. These had been sets for a very limited audience to test a new special brick. After the Arctic fox this year, I can see very well Lego doing a forest oriented subtheme (maybe some sort of wildlife park) in summer in order to use the Arctic fox as regular (orange) fox and the already existing deer in a different color, maybe bringing back the bear mould and releasing a baby bear mould. There are already so many dogs around. Much more, I'd like to get a new trailer (plow, slurry tanker etc.) instead. Thanks for letting know! I've added it to the list. According to Brickmerge it's a 7+ set. So I guess it's sonewhere in between fourty and seventy Euros. Very likeky an Exclusive. In principle it can be anything. But I personally hope that it'll be some sort of a small street scenery or a small town place - since Lego didn't offer us any (decent) civilian buildings in 2025, something like this ist more than overdue. -

Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion
Klaus-Dieter replied to Gearslover01's topic in LEGO Town
According to a well-known source, this years's WV set will have the set number 10361. It will release on October 1st and will get a price increase towards a final price of 130 Dollars. I'm excited what the building will be - hopefully non-fantasy. And I'm interested to see if and what vehicle will be included.
