stefito Posted May 17, 2015 (edited) Hi guys, this is my first post but I have been an AFOL for many years now, I have been following these forums for a long time now but I finally decided to register. After reading a post here of someone who decided to rework it, it got me inspired and I decided to do it too. (as I don`t like this set a lot) This is the post: http://www.eurobrick...howtopic=106475 Remember is still a WIP as i don`t like a lot the toy`s shop first floor (the white space above the windows) I am currently thinking of how to improve it and ive got couple of ideas already. Interiors are empty as i dont want to waste many bricks (im working on a MOC to showcast a weeding scene at my weeding day :) ). The whole MOC will include a statue of the superior lego (Lego lanthern will do the trick), The detective's office, The reworked Toy and Grocery store, a neoclassical bank (work in progress in LDD) and finally in the center of the scene a church (with me and my bride). Also sorry about the quality of the pics, i gotta work on it, and sorry for the disaster in the back but I had to get all my Lego out after putting them away for moving! dr_sarcophagus Posted May 31, 2015 The fire escape is excellent. I'd recommend using jumper plates to set the windows back by half a stud (all the modulars do this). I'd also increase the height of the floors of the RH building to match, or else just have a single upper floor that is taller. You might also want to consider incorporating darker bricks for the outline and using the white bricks around the windows. mediumsnowman Posted May 31, 2015 Looks like an excellent start! I would recommend cleaning up the sidewalk with all dark grey tiles and refurbishing the interiors. Missing Brick Posted June 1, 2015 Nice moc but suggest you buy a large sheet of white paper and photograph the model on that. The tablecloth is a bit distracting :) Alternatively you can tape A4 sheets together. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
