JunkstyleGio Posted November 12, 2010 Author Posted November 12, 2010 Finally! It was about time. No let's see if we can spot the differences between the prelim's and the real stuff! Quote
fmmjqtft Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 Don't forget the official box images: Notice that pages 'http://www.superspeelgoed.nl/images/8070.jpg' and 'http://www.superspeelgoed.nl/images/8070.jpg' do exist, instead of returning a '404 Not found error'. There is a question mark instead, so the images will probably arrive soon! Quote

Benly Posted November 12, 2010 Posted November 12, 2010 8067 at the upper end of the telescopic boom. Is this a new Part? I think it's just perpendicular connectors attached to the beam via two of these 1 x 2 thin liftarms Quote
Mrlegoninja Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 The digger is a must have! Thanks for sharing! Quote
2LegoOrNot2Lego... Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) It's quite clear that we'll have mini-actuators! Yay! Well that is cool, those mini actuators. I don't bother buying any Lego set to be honest, I only build MOC's. This mainly has to do with not being able to spend money on both I guess... These actuators are pretty cool and will be in my parts collection in the end too... BTW does this mean there's gone be a S or XS PF motor in the future too? That would be cool to reduce space consumption... Edited November 13, 2010 by 2LegoOrNot2Lego... Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) I think the small truck has different grey colored bed. Also the backhoe has now stickers on the front and rear arm. The winch handle on the mini crane truck is now on the other side. Edited November 13, 2010 by Zblj Quote
roamingstop Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I think it's just perpendicular connectors attached to the beam via two of these 1 x 2 thin liftarms Im not convinced; the moulding appears to have diagonal elements to the centre hole. It would look more like a Mini LA connector mount, like its larger cousins. Quote
grohl Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 What really surprises me is that the alternative for the helicopter should be a HELICOPTER? Quote
Plastic Nurak Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) What really surprises me is that the alternative for the helicopter should be a HELICOPTER? LOL, I've thought the same thing . These sets are all so lovable, don't they ? Edited November 13, 2010 by Plastic Nurak Quote
Erik Leppen Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 I think it's just perpendicular connectors attached to the beam via two of these 1 x 2 thin liftarms It's highly probably a new part. Think about it ... if it's what you're suggesting, then there's no way the 1 x 2 liftarms are fixed to the long liftarm, as the long liftarm only has round holes which would mean the end section can freely rotate. Also, the visible underside suggests the liftarm goes through both red axles. Quote
TechnicJuan Posted November 13, 2010 Posted November 13, 2010 (edited) If you save the picture and then blow it up, you can easily tell that it is in fact a new part. And it looks like it will be a handy one at that. Edited November 13, 2010 by TechnicJuan Quote
prateek Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I like that small Dump Truck. Very cute Quote
Plastic Nurak Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I like that small Dump Truck. Very cute It's 6 studs large, if it's possible sit in a minifig we could use it in city dioramas . Quote
Sugarfree Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I would ask when we will know the names of sets for the second half of 2011? Quote
Plastic Nurak Posted November 14, 2010 Posted November 14, 2010 I would ask when we will know the names of sets for the second half of 2011? Surely during spring. Quote
Milan Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 8067 at the upper end of the telescopic boom. Is this a new Part? It is the new part: from cbt's BS accout Quote
Anio Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 With all the new parts, a model which would have required 200 parts today will require 130 parts in 10 years. O_o I'm not convinced that this part is so useful... Quote
Blakbird Posted November 15, 2010 Posted November 15, 2010 With all the new parts, a model which would have required 200 parts today will require 130 parts in 10 years. O_o I'm not convinced that this part is so useful... Ah yes, the POOP (pieces of other pieces) trend. In my opinion, a part should only be created if it allows something to be done which cannot be done with assembled individual parts. This is why I like small, simple parts the best. The fun and creativity of LEGO comes from combining parts in interesting ways to achieve useful results. That's why I don't like most of the Racers R/C line. They are basically one big part with wheels on it. Where's the fun in that? Contrast that with set 853 in which the steering was built up out of 2x2 turntables, axles were used for steering arms, and the crankshaft was built up from gears. That's LEGO! Quote
