    Disney buys out Lucasfilm

Huzzah! Glad to see this mythos handed down to new directors with fresh perspectives. Plus if they work out the merchandising rights, maybe we'll get more Indiana Jones as well. Disney would really have to get someone talented to make people appreciate another actor portraying Indy, but it could be done. The thought of Pixar working on Star Wars, Indy or any Marvel project would be incredible. Great news for those that like Disneyworld as well. Avatar is coming to Animal Kingdom in 2014 (I think) and they've already said that they will expand on the Star Wars universe at their parks.

    New Licensed Theme Rumor Mill

http://lego.wikia.com/wiki/2013 If this is true, then Lone Ranger may be coming our way. I don't follow this stuff closely, so this may be old news.

  7. The superhero category is prime for it's own series of mini figures. Wave one could be DC characters and wave two could be Marvel or better yet a mix of both. Honestly IMO, it's got just as much if not more appeal than some of the current series of mini figures. Hopefully Lego will come around and expand the superhero universe. I know my son wants several of the different suits in the Batman 2 Lego game. This would be a perfect way to get B, C and D listers to the roster and perhaps army building with henchman. Characters I love to see: FF and Dr. Doom Ultron Kang Red Skull Ms Marvel Flash Green Lantern Captain Marvel Aquaman Gorilla Grodd Black Manta Sinestro Black Adam

    Future Superhero Set Ideas

I posted this in the other Superhero thread, but it doesn't hurt to repeat it here. My son and I were talking about how we would love to see a series of the mini figures be strictly superhero related. There could be a various themed series, or an entire DC series followed by an entire Marvel series, etc. It could even be a seperate series to the ongoing mini figure line. Not only do I think it would sell well, but it would give kids and collectors a chance to get B, C, and D list characters that they would never get in a set. Hall of Justice would be nice as well.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion

Hi, I'm new here so if this isn't the place for wishful thinking, I could voice this in the general forum. My son and I were talking about how we would love to see a series of the minifigures be strictly superhero related. There could be a various themed series, or an entire DC series followed by an entire Marvel series, etc. Would anyone else like to see that? It could even be a seperate series to the ongoing minfigure line. My boy talks about this all the time so I thought I would post it here. Thanks for this site. It's a lot of fun and some of the creative builds we've seen here are amazing.
