Cedrica - GoH 10 year celebration by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr A little birdie @Gideon whispered to me that the deadline had been extended so I couldn't really help myself from giving the Cedrica category a go as well... Never built in that style before so that was a fun challenge. Borrowed some inspiration from Jonas and Bart for the roof (man, that took way longer than expected...haha!). Of course had to include a tree as well . Anyways, hope you all like it!

Finally got around to posting pics of this build that I made back when the contest was first announced...haha! As Mophet grew and traderouts became more established, the next logical step was to establish a port to the north/west of the city. The Arkbri river was fairly near as it was, and continuing to grow the relationship with nearby Barqa was essential to Mophets security. Thus, the city council decided to make the necessary investments to make it a reality. http://Port of Mophet by Andreas Lenander, on Flickr So this build is part of a collab of sorts between a few of us Swebrick members, depicting ports in different parts of Historica. Hopfully we'll all be able to display them together later this spring. Hope you like it, thanks for stopping by!

For most of her life, M'Usa Qi'run had worked at the small stable near the marketplace in Mophet. As a child, she used to help her father care for the horses and after he had passed she took it upon herself to carry on running it. Her temper was known throughout the Siccus badlands, an attitude forged by the conditions of her environment. Although she did have a soft spot for the horses under her care, her husband Hi'san was often the recipient of some less than caring words... With Mophet growing, the business had gotten more and more intense. Merchants and travellers often used the stables as they passed through, for a small fee of course. M'usa had even started letting out a bed in the room next to the stable, as accomodations were still a bit hard to find in Mophet (for an additional, not so small, fee...). With the income, the couple had recently taken on a stable boy who was primarily in charge of cleaning up after the horses...a less than glamorous job in the scorching temperatures... Hi'san the horse tamer going about his everyday work. The stable boy swetting in the foreground... Al-aqlu, a stonecutter who moved the Mophet after the war, is transporting materials to one of the many building sites in the area. So this is my second build for the Kaliphlin at Work. Figured (while also reading through HSS, haha!) a stable would be a fun addition to Mophet. Pretty happy with the overall look of it. Wanted it to be "more than just a stable", so I decided to put a small living-area adjacent to the area where the horses are kept. As I wanted to show this as a part of the more central parts of Mophet, rather than on the outskirts , I chose to go with a smaller buildning and make it a little closed off with the somewhat low walls surrounding it. Hope you like it, feel free to comment as always.

One of the more prominent places of worship in Mophet is the temple of Afe'aa. It's primary cartaker is a priestess by the name of Kahina, a woman of strong conviction and compassion. Along with Tabib, she is one of the more well-known people in the city and her opinions carry a lot of weight. Close up of the entrance of the temple where Kahina welcomes Tabib. A shot of the interior which features a large mosaic floor. Had a lot of fun making this temple/mosque. Started with the mosaic on the outside where I based it heavily on a pattern designed by @LittleJohn. For once I actually decided to do an interior, which was a bit of a challenge as I didn't want to compromise the look of the exterior. I then decided to go for a mosaic floor on the inside as well and came up with a pattern I was pretty happy with (small tutorial on my Flickr for anyone that might be interested). Thanks for watching, cheers!

So this is a little vig I made to introduce my sig-fig in GoH. I went with sort of a cartoon-ish look for the desert (probably inspired by som old super mario that I have been playing with the kids lately, haha!). Trying to get used to the EB-forum as well so I guess this also serves as somewhat of a test to see if I am able to post something correctly (if not, feel free to correct me ). Anyways, this is Tabib D'Odo. A doctor/healer and somewhat of a religious leader in Mophet. His healing abilities and knowledge was most likely passed on to him from his father, a rather absent man who spent his life travelling throughout the world in search of knowledge (even venturing in the darker parts of Nocturnus...). Tabib D'Odo spent his youth and adolescence in the Siccus Badlands, which was a hard as one might imagine. As he got older, he earned a living on the oil road, helping transport the valuable commodity through the terrain he knew all too well. Unlike many of his comrades though, he always had a desire to do more, and he spent many night studying his father's old journals. One day while working on a transport, he and his travellers were ambushed by a band of Lerik'ai and he was injured. The rest of his companions were all killed. Close to his death, dehydrated and injured, he saw a snake wriggling past him. The snake looked at him briefly and seemed to gaze into his very soul. Tabib D'Odo gathered his last efforts and followed the snake (hoping he might be able to kill and eat the snake before his own demise) as it made its way towards some nearby rocks. Behind the rocks, Tabib D'Odo was astonished to discover a small spring in the otherwise dry desert. The water helped him survive and he finally made his way to safety. The incident with the snake made a deep impression on Tabib D'Odo and he began to believe in a higher power, with the snake as the most sacred symbol of this. Settling in Mophet - a small town to the east of Barqa, along the oil road - he was able to help the community grow as both a healer/doctor, as well as a spiritual leader. His desire to help people, of all backgrounds, helped keep Mophet somewhat safe from the otherwise harsh treatment most towns along the oil road experienced. So that's the beginning of my sig-figs story :) Hope you liked it! I got some (a lot of...) builds planned and am looking forward to exploring the world and hopefully making Mophet a more important part of it. Cheers!

As Mophet grew, so did the need for arms and other items a blacksmith could provide. Hid'ad had grown up in Mophet and seen the place transform from a sleepy little oasis into a blossoming community, not something seen very often in the badlands...He had gotten more and more busy lately and as he continued to go about his everyday work, his wife had gotten the bright idea to expand the business. After a little persuasion, they ended up being responsible for Mophets first armory. Although that didn't change life much for Hid'ad, as he still spent most of his days in the Kali-heat working the metal into some of the finest swords in the region. Khabaz the baker is also a recurring sight for people visiting Mophet. He might not be the best baker i Kaliphlin (in fact, he's average at best...) but he makes up for it in enthusiasm and an infectious laugh that keeps his business going. Hid'ad working on a sword which is to be delivered to the Mophet guards along with other fresh supplies. So this is another addition to the collab, and to Mophet of course. Had a fun time making the blacksmith-area and fairly pleased with how it turned out. For the armory I tried to get a bit of a different look on the facade, but looking back I'm not too sure about the red patterns...The ground is again a bit sparse, at least in the center-section, but again the idea was that it's mostly just gravel there. Outside of the square is a bit of "pavement" but I'm a little unsure about how well that worked out. If I were to redo it I would probably add roads as an additional border but I must admit I was running out of pieces at this point in the creation of Mophet... Anyways, a fun build and I hope you guys like it. Cheers!

After the war, vast parts of Kaliphlin had been left in ruin. Not only as a result of the fighting itself, but equally significant were the diminished incomes from trade. Located along the oil road, Mophet had an ideal position between two of the largest cities in the region. Tabib D'Odo, one of the more prominent leaders of Mophet, tried to view the devastation as a chance to better the lives of the people around him. As the fighting had ceased, it was apparent that people still needed to transport goods along the oil road, and thus through Mophet. This in turn meant opportunity! Located about 1 days ride south of the Arkbri river, getting supplies to Mophet was easier compared to a lot of the other settlements along the oil road. And given his fairly good relationships with the tribes that populated the badlands, Tabib D'Odo was able to ensure safe passage for those bringing supplies and material, something which was not to be taken lightly. Something the people of Mophet never shied away from, was hard work. The climate and environment had bred a hard people, but also a stern belief that fortune favours those who are willing to work for it. To make sure the world knew that Mophet was now a place where the future looked brighter than it had in a long time, it was decided that a town hall was to be constructed. It would symbolize the spirit of the people, and act as a beacon of hope for things to come. Masons, carpenters and stonecutters from not only Mophet, but from all over Kaliphlin, all came to lend their services. Work of this nature had been hard to come by during the war, and many were thankful for the opportunity to do an honest days work, without the fear of death hanging over them. Within only a couple of months of the first groundwork being layed, the town hall of Mophet began to near it's completion. Tabib D'Odo stood on the steps of the building, the jade-coloured door to his back, and found himself at peace for the first time since the fighting had began. As one of the domes was carefully being lifted in to place, he looked across the yard - which at this point more resembled the desert than any grand beginning of any sort - and thought to himself "this is the time and the place which will mark the rise of Mophet, this will give us hope!" Ear´aba the wainwright Al-quirsan supervisin the lift Qu'ba putting the finishing touches on the dome Not all jobs are fun in the blistering desert sun... Sah'alia-rider on site So a long story, which I hope at least a few of you found some joy in. This is my entry to Challenge I over on Guilds of Historica (the theme being rebuild). I have a lot of other Mophet MOCs on the way but they are a ways away from being posted at this point. But like in the story, this is only the beginning ;) So stay tuned. Finally I'd like to thank all the other swedish AFOLs including @Gideon @Zilmrud @dalle @Wineyard and Peter S (couldn't find your tag, sorry) for feedback during this build

The marketplace in Mophet is without a doubt one of the busiest places around, a true melting pot with people and creatures from all over Historica. It is located in the center of Mophet, inside one of the old walls that used to protect the settlement before the expansion. The old barracks, which were connected to the wall, had now been renovated by followers of Tabib D'Odo and converted into a small temple. Tabib often stood on top of it, looking down on the market and all the people, and at times held small sermons to offer inspiration and guidance. The most recent addition to the marketplace was a tall observatory, which had been placed on top of the old fountain. The fountain now had guards around it since it was not uncommon for tired travellers and merchants to get into conflict with each other in the Kaliphlin heat. Overview of the whole marketplace. Tabib D'Odo on top of the little temple. Closeup of the fountain beneath the observatory, guarded by some of Mophets peacekeepers. Refreshment stand Potion vendor trying to peddle his goods to a less than convinced nobleman. Hid'ad the blacksmith cheerfully walking by on his way back to work. My seventh (and final) contribution to this collab. Had a blast building all of this and figured I would try to go out with a somewhat bigger build. This was actually the first build I started on when Gideon lured me into this whole GoH-thing. Hope you have enjoyed what I've brought so far and I look forward to trying to expand this place as best I can. I'm in the middle of a move right now so not sure when I'll be able to get building again, but hopefully it won't be that long. If anyone wants a closer look at Mophet I made a little Wiki-page for it Just wanted to say thanks a lot to everyone that have taken the time to comment on my builds here so far. Really appreciate all the feedback I have gotten. Cheers guys!

Outside of Mophet, as well as all over Kaliphlin, plenty pf people spend their days working in the vast deserts. One of them is Ra'ei the swineherder. The work is hard, and at times very lonely, but the feeling she gets from spending the days in the vast landscapes that make up Kaliphlin is truly priceless (I almost feel like I should be working for the Kaliphlin tourist bureau, haha!). Ra'ei enjoying the Kali sunshine. So this is another one of my contributions to the Kaliphlin collab. Spent a little more time on the ground on this one . Even though it's a pretty basic technique, I'm fairly happy with the look as it (sort of) resembles a dried out old river. Thought that fit rather nicely with the look I was going for. Hope you guys like it, cheers!

Ha'ri the potter (yeah, I named him that...) spends every day at the big marketplace in Mophet. His stand is right by the large gate so often times he is one of the first to greet the people visiting. Using clay from the reddish soil that is common in Mophet, his pots have become increasingly popular and business has lately been very good. My third contribution to the Kaliphlin collab. Hope you like it (as more is on the way, haha!).

So LittleJohn and Kai had a great idea to get a collab going and landed on the idea of showing Kaliphlin at work. As I wanted to expand Mophet to a proper town (or city...) I felt it was a great opportunity to get building. Noticed our guild had been falling behind a bit in the gold-standings but that will hopefully change in the coming month So this is the first in a coming series of builds showing the everyday life in Kaliphlin. Make sure you check out the other builders' MOCs which are coming along during the following weeks :) Starting out with something that every aspiring settlements need, a farm! This particular farm is located in the outskirts of Mophet and is growing Juz-albieta, a very nutritious plant which is able to thrive in the harsh deserts of Kaliphlin. It's sort of a mix between a potatoe and a carrot and is a base-food for many of the inhabitants of Mophet. The MOC shows a couple of farmers going about their everyday life, harvesting the crops. Hope you like the MOC as well as what's coming during this collab. Stay tuned, more is on the way :) As peace had returned to Kaliphlin, and the rebuilding was slowly coming along, life started to return to normal. Farmers were able to go back to their normal lives and do what they knew best, farm. The Arkbri river, which ran approximately 15-20 miles north-west of Mophet, had always been vital in supporting the otherwise dry land with water. A series of canals and aqueducts had been constructed (and recently rebuilt), which made farming in this climate possible. One such farm was run by a couple of brothers, the Hazans'. Like most living in badlands, they were grateful to still be alive given the turmoil that had ensued for the last couple of years, and looked forward to aid the people of Mophet with their crops. Going back generations, the Hazan family had been farming Juz'albieta. And they were mighty proud of that heritage. Their father had always preached the importance of being able to support one self, and the pride one can take in an honest days work, especially if that meant being able the feed the people around you. The younger brother Ma-hi enjoys the work a bit more than his brothers...

As the city of Mophet had continued to expand, some would even say flourish, discussions began to take place regarding an expansion. The natural direction was north, towards the Arkbri river which was barely a days ride away. Although a great deal of trade was still being conducted along the oilroad, more and more people in the city had realized that the lifeblood of Historica was still the Arkbri river. On it, goods and resources could travel as far away as Mitgardia, with a significant reduction in risk that otherwise came with transport in the badlands. Tabib D'Odo had recieved an invitation from one of the more prominent merchants in the city to discuss this matter further...

The legendary fighting elephants of Mophet have become a cornerstone of the army that protects the city. Large in size, and with thick skin, they are well equipped to handle the harsh climate and instill fear in anyone considering an attack on the now prosperous city.

Although mostly known as a sandpit (glad to be a part of it, haha!), some parts of Kaliphlin actually does contain water and some rather lush vegetation. The Arkbri river has quite a few smaller rivers and creeks running from it that are essential in supplying the otherwise barren landscape with water. Goats are well equipped in dealing with the harsh climate and although not too common (mainly because of the insane prices of goats in all of historica...), there are quite a few goat herders that call Kaliphlin their home. Some of them live a nomadic life, covering large distances while maintaining the well-being of their livestock. One of them is Mae'Iz, a somewhat grumpy man that prefers the company of goats over men any day of the week. He was particularly grumpy on this day as he had heard rumours about the current rise in population along some parts of the Arkbri river...Buildings had began to sprung up and a small community had even began to take shape as trade had increased in the region. So this is a little scene that I made to illustrate a bit of the surroundings north of Mophet, where the expansion is beginning to take shape... The bridge is made from a bunch of 4L bars with 1x1 plate with clips on each side. The whole thing is slightly bent to match the curve of the fence-pieces. Hope you like it

Although Mophet had grown, and become a place of increased wealth, not all of its inhabitants had mastered the ability to hold on to money... Al-Khuraq'a had just bet a substantial part of his surprisingly profitable cheese-shop on the ostrich-races and the outcome had unfortunately not been what he had hoped for...he wandered anxiously around his study while trying to figure out how to explain this little misfortune to his wife... Saw some amazing patterns by "the queen of cheese" Katie Walker and decided to try and make a little scene with some different mosaic patterns. I can assure you that making something like this fit within a certain border was tricky...making it stand in a window was...trickier...haha! Anyways, hope you like it ;)

One of the more prominent landmarks inside the walls of Mophet is the Midhana minaret. Built a long time ago, it has been the focus of repeated renovations through the years which has given it a somewhat unique look in terms of the colourscheme. Another Mophet build, I know...haha! Got a bigger collab with @Zilmrud coming up in a little while so I gotta catch up on posting here

The journey of Parzival Chapter I, part V Snakes of Mophet Previous Chapter: Chapter I, part IV - Outside the gates of Mophet Intro builds by @adde51 Tabibs Study Tabib and the crow (Picture above by Adde51) The next morning the slave trader and his men took the carriage and walked into the city of Mophet. It was crowded with people and creatures/beings inside of the city walls. Various strange smells, chatter, laughter and screams filled the air. They passed by buildings with streets and came to a square full of people. Z looked out of the bars and saw all kinds of people running around. On the other side of the carriage there was a camel looking into the cage drooling on the bars as they passed by. It was a lot to take in for the tired prisoners. The company came to a stop in a square. There was some kind of crowd ahead. "- What's happening?" Pointy asked "- I don't know. I can't see" Hoves side from the front of the carriage. "- Kraaah, be ready, be ready. Kraaah!" Crow said when he landed on top of the cage. "- Be ready for what?" Z said out loud. Left-eye turn his head and looked at Z with a confused look. "- What did you say?" "- Erm, nothing" Z said "- Boy will come, be ready, kraaah" A little boy came up to Z beside the carriage. "- Pssst, you" he said and looked at Z "- I've got a message for you. There will be a commotion ahead soon, don't mind it. Tell your friends to be ready. I will open the cage door and let you out. Then you have to follow me quickly down under ground. We only got a few seconds!" (Picture above by Adde51) Z told the others and they got ready. After awhile the crowd started to scatter and people started to scream. People ran past the carriage. They heard a lady screaming of fear and soon they all saw that the ground was full of snakes that were hissing and trying to bite the nearest persons. The snakes came closer to the elephant and the mage's horse and they started to back away from the snakes. On the other side of the open space they saw a large overturned barrel from which the snakes came out. The mage became furious and started to scream at the man. (Picture above by Adde51) In the commotion the little boy quickly picked the lock and opened the gate. "- Kraaah, hurry. Tabib will come" "- Follow me" The boy whispered. The slaves ran after the boy to a nearby building and into a small door. Inside the door were stairs down to the basement. (Picture above by Adde51) The mage became furious and he began shouting at his guards to protect him. The mage lifted up his staff and started to mumble. "- Stop! Lower your staff!" A voice in the crowd said out loudly. The people in the crowd stood aside and tall man with hair as white as snow and a long beard came out from the crowd and stopped midst if the snakes. The crowd whispered and you could here some say "- It's Tabib" (Picture above by Adde51) The mage became silent as he saw the bearded man. "- You don't rise your staff against any living creature inside the walls of Mophet!" Tabib said in a calm voice that made the whole square go silent. "- Get your filthy snakes away from us Tabib. I’m not afraid of you” the mage screamed. Tabib started to whisper in some odd language and the snakes meander back towards Tabib. “- In Mophet it’s not welcome to use faul and dark magic. Take you men and walk out of the city and go back to Nocturnus.” Tabib responded. “- I have a meeting by the fighting pits. We are not leaving.” “- What is a slave trader as yourself going to do there without any slaves to trade? Tabib said with a hint of a smile on his lips. The mage turned around and looked at the carriage and saw the empty cage. “- Noooooo!!!” Next part... The different builds For this story I had to get some help from my friend and fellow member of SwedishLegoMafia @adde51. Most of the builds is his that he has posted earlier (se below) I built the square and two houses. Then we put it all together for some awesome photos and an awesome part of the city Mophet. Zamorah Embassy in Mophet Since Zamorah opened up for trade with other regions in Historica they built embassies in many cities. This building has the Zamorah Weapon crest and sand green and white colours. Hidamus Family residence This is a house in Mophet Kaliphlin belongs to a wealthy centaur merchant family. In this MOC I tested to blend tan, teal and pearl gold and I think it was a great combo. Adde51‘s buildings Here you can see some of the pictures and links below to Adde51 builds here on GoH. As tensions had risen in Historica, the people of Mophet and its surroundings had grown increasingly nervous. Although accustomed to hardships for generations, the recent inflow of money and resources to the region had meant that the standard of living had risen dramatically. This had led to many of the inhabitants changing their rugged nomad lifestyles into a more “civilized” way of life. Thus, they no longer felt safe as rumors had spread throughout Kali that bands of robbers and thugs roamed freely, taking whatever they desired. There was also a widespread notion that merchants and armies from the north would try to use the current instability to attack and destroy some of the more important cities and settlements along the oil road, in an attempt to establish new trade-routes, thus endangering the position that Mophet now had acquired. Now a central hub along the oil road, the leaders as well as the common folk, realized they had to take steps to ensure they would not be attacked. The city had, until recently, been somewhat unprotected against attack in terms of fortifications and instead relied on good relationships with local tribe-leaders. With the city growing and more of the markets and small farms that made up the outskirts of it being exposed, a decision had to be made. Tabib D’Odo discussed the matter with a good friend of him, a half-elf that went by the name of sir Gideon. Tabib had met him a few times on his travels to Barqa and the two had gotten along very well. Gideon, being a seasoned fighter and now the leader of the neighboring city of Barqa, advised Tabib to immediately start to reinforce Mophet against what might come. “If nothing else, strong walls and towers usually cast some doubts in the hearts of any potential attacker” said Gideon. Being a city that basically had consisted of several smaller settlements slowly merging together, there were already some walls and fortifications in place from times passed. This however provided protection mostly to the inner parts of Mophet, and did little to ensure the safety of the many people working the markets and gardens/farms on the outskirts of the city. Given the good relationship with Barqa, and the income that had been generated through trade, Tabib was able to quickly muster a large number of builders to help the local carpenters and masons already hard at work. They began raising and strengthening some of the larger sections that still remained intact in the outer parts of the city, as well as building entire new sections to make sure the city would be well protected in case of any attack. Towers were built and an increased number of guards also started to patrol the walls as well as the surroundings to make sure none tried to enter without permission. So this is my entry to challenge III (fortifications). Had a blast building this and I hope you all like it :)

Pondering the challenges presented by a growing city, Tabib D'Odo would often take refuge in his study to find some peace and quiet. His duties and responsibilities had increased dramatically over the past year as Mophet had grown from a quiet desert oasis into a rather large city. The previously scattered settlements and buildings had slowly merged together and a lot of new ones had been built. The walls of older settlements and forts in the region incorporated and renovated into proper city walls and with it, the formation of the official city guard of Mophet. All of this meant that a lot more things needed the attention of the leading members of the community, one of which was Tabib. All was not only pleasant with the growth of the city, as illustrated by the increased number of people with questionable motives that now frequented the markets and establishments. Tabib was especially concerned with the roumors that slave-traders had began to show up, transporting poor souls to who-knows-what. The matter had been discussed at length with some of the other members of the city counsil but some chose to look the other way as the trade did seem to generate a lot of revenue to the city. Tabib decided to write letters to some of the leading members of other prominant cities in Kaliphlin, hoping to gather support for tougher laws against this horrific custom. So this is a small vig I created to show the inside of my sig-fig Tabib's study. I came up with a design for the floor which I rather liked (see below for a small tutorial) and then tried to decorated the room with a few things to make it a little more habitable. Hope you guys like it. cheers.

Given the influx of money and resources Mophet had experienced in recent times, a proper city guard was required to maintain the peace. Soldiers were recruited and trained and finally equipped with standard uniforms. Up until this point, the guards keeping some sort of peace in the city had consisted mostly of former soldiers who had ventured south in search for pay, and thus had taken with them whatever armour they had on them. The training was overseen by one of the more seasoned warriors, Muhar'Ib, a man not known for being "easy-going"... Not all of the recruits are quite as brave as the rest... Nor does everyone know how to keep their focus... So this is the latest addition to Mophet. I started out with the aim of making sort of a training ground, mostly because I got my hands on some of those new sheilds...haha! I came up with a design for arches which I was pretty happy with so I decided to add a tower in which to use them. I also wanted to try and use all those maccaroni tiles so I came up with a new technique for a roof which I used for the building on the left side. Anyways hope you guys like it, thanks for watching!

The eastern gate of Mophet is one of the most recently built additions and as such, the aim for the rulers of the city was to illustrate the wealth that now flowed through the city. Because as any good salesman knows, image is everything... So this build started with me getting a hold of a bunch of the tan ingots from the local pab-wall and thought it might make for a cool border. So I started playing around a bit with it and decided to build a microscale gate. This is also my second entry to the 12x12 category for summer joust. I hope you guys like it, and thanks for having a look
-
One of the more serene places in the otherwise busy streets of Mophet, the Ab'Yad temple offers calm for all those who seek it. So this is my second entry to the summer joust, this time in the tri-color category. A lot of arches...
-
Outside the southern coast of Kaliphlin, on the mythical island of Mubarazat Al-Sayf, the temple of Ya'Hum towers towards the sky... My entry to the 12x12 category for summer joust. The idea of using the wheel piece over the doorway of one of the buildings is insipred by an old build by SimonNH.

In one of the many gathering-places in Mophet, Ma'Zarie is selling some of his crops as part of the Mophet city guard rush to quell some unrest...On one of the balconies, the local fortune teller/con artist Eira'fa, is smiling with her usual smug look... More Mophet, haha! Had som fun designing the window on the tower for this one, hope you guys like it!

The journey of Parzival Chapter I, part IV Outside the gates of Mophet Chapter I, Part I - The Wakeup Chapter I, Part II - The Arkbri River Oasis Chapter I, Part III - Desert Illusions Just before the sun went down they arrived to Mophet, a city in the desert. "Mophet is a desert oasis along the Oil Road in the Siccus Badlands. It lies about 0,5-1 days ride to the east of where the Oil Road touches on the banks of the mighty Arkbri River. It is strategically located right in between the two larger cities of Barqa and Petrea. It is a settlement which is expanding and its population has been constantly growing over the past few years." (Read more about Mophet in the wiki). Outside the gate to the city many tents, carriages, and other had camped for the night waiting for the city's gates to open in the morning. "- We stay here and make camp before the Dawn and the opening of the gate. Barchi! make some food for us and give the slaves the last of the dried meat. You can refill our supplies in the morning at the market when I meet the others". "- Of course my Lord!" The guard started to unpack a bag whilst the other guards sat down. Z looked at the guards when they sat outside the cage. For some reason Z didn't think they looked like real people. Their faces was hard as stone. He didn't think he had seen anyone of them make any expressions at all. They where like walking statues, or maybe like puppets. "- Have we stopped"? Pointy said and rubbed her eyes. "- I'm so thirsty" "- I heard that they are giving us some food.” Z said. “- That’s great news.” The guard came up top the carriage with some dried meat and bottles of water. The prisoners ate with great appetite. Soon they all lay down to sleep again. In the last rays of sunlight before the sun set Z looked at mage and the guards sitting beside the fireplace. He joined the others and fell asleep on the floor of the carriage. Later that night "- Kraaah, food, food!" Z woke up with a jerk, quite dizzy. “- Krahaaa, the stupid walker, got food!?” “- Is it you again Crow? I it ok if I call you that” Z said inside his mind. Crow looked down on Z between the bars. Z took a little bit of his meat and reached up and gave to Crow. He ate with good appetite. “Good meat, Kraaah” Crow said when he munched on the meat. “Can you help us?” Z asked cautiously. “Can you get help? We are trapped inside this cage!” “- Ask Tabib.
